It's great that you've been meaning to check out Sasaki and Miyano lately! I highly recommend the manga and it has an amazing anime too! The story of Sasaki and Miyano is super adoring, sweet and funny! They've also got relatable and funny side characters who just make it better. The way these two main characters got connected to each other is quite uncommon and cute! I'm not gonna lie, but Sasaki and Miyano is the manga/anime which got me so hooked and brought me back to the manga/anime world once I had stopped for a while.
Pretty amazing how manga has emerged as B&N's most profitable genre. I'm always amazed that you love Junji Ito. I find his stuff so visually disturbing it literally can make me nauseous. Despite that, however, I did post a video where he actually goes through his process drawing a single page of "Layers of Fear" and his technique is extraordinary. He is also modest and soft-spoken and adores cats. But his stuff is still...disturbing beyond belief ;)
Whoa that manga selection on that B&N branch is so huge! I'm from NY and I think it's just 2 shelves here (the branch near Kinokuniya here). Goodness! 😮 Also that promo!!! Lucky!

Cause I only have one boookshop that has manga and it's literally only one shelf full of them which is never stocked up :( Always have to wait until I go to London to Forbidden Planet to get my dose of Manga lol

Ohh this is my local B&N! I never realized it was so much bigger than other locations :') if you're in the Norcal area I totally recommend the Tanforan one as well!

If you ever pick up usagi drop/bunny drop I'll recommend you to only watch the anime or read the manga up to the end of the anime, no further than that.
Anti-Romance really IS interesting, it's a must if you like BL. When it comes to Bunny Drop, I almost never say that, but in this case you better watch only the anime and stay away from the manga:)

@@mangatama The Barnes and Noble where I used to live a while back was okay, they had 4 1/2 long bookcases for manga originally on the second floor, then less then 5 years ago, they reduced the manga section down to barely more half than of what it was. Then almost 20 months ago they moved to a new location where a CVS store used to be possessing barely half of its square footage, one floor for everything. The manga section was merged with graphic novels and FRPG sections encompassing one long bookcase row against the wall. The magazines sections is the only thing that wasn't reduced in size. So I envy the Barnes n Noble store you were at.
@@mangatama Well, I found that one interesting since the manga was tamer than the anime. The anime had a curse word song (which is why it was TV-MA) HOWEVER the manga NEVER had that and it was rated T (equivalent to a soft TV-14). Now the fact that's it's a musical anime with a manga reminds me of K-on, now the K-on was actually a lot more intense than the anime it was rated OT (equivalent to R) Also the manga being tamer reminds me of Interspecies Reviewers. Now the manga is still --R rated-- NC-17 rated however the anime was released under an adult label meanwhile the manga wasn't!

Strand, the B&N on Union Square has 3 floors, of course Kinokuniya, McNally and Bookoff has some interesting finds as well
