I am a fairly competitive Arena grinder, with a preference for red aggressive decks. Even still, listening to you think out your lines in real time is extremely helpful. You've earned my RUclips subscription.
Just lsot my qualifier's semi finals against this deck, I was playing Gruul vehicles. The deck is way too fast, it felt like an impossible match up. Insane
Why do u plot slickshot instead of just casting? Could potentially get more dmg in that way. I d9nt see a point really. I get that ur saving for 1 big turn but u give ur opp time to prep for it
I often plot when my opponent has 1-2 mana open and their deck plays removal at that cost. In the Gruul builds, you can protect with Blossoming Defense. In MonoR, you can just make your opponent use mana on the "wrong turn," or give them incentives to tap out early so you can play Bird later, attack with all your mana open to cast all your spells and deal massive damage. Just watch all the spots where I plot, and follow up turns are often explosive for those reasons. I do cast it regularly, and explain why basically every time.
@@badley91 I've tried both and I think both are fine with their own reasons for doing so. White for Helix and Wedding is great. Green for Blossoming and Questing Druid is also solid. The core 24 cards are all fantastic, and can be paired with a lot of stuff around them.
I like those lizards in the sideboard. I think I'm going to try it

@@TandyMTG do you think splashing white or green is worth it/gains you % vs the main matchups like rb vamps and pheonix?
