He has mostly soaked up removal spells. 😂 He seemed to do well against creature decks. Monogreen and monored both play 1-drops so I have been able to Fatal Push and steal a creature on turn 2. Terrible against control obviously, since they don't have anything you can cast. Honestly, Forsaken Miner felt the most impressive to me. There was a match against Rakdos where I was able to just keep reanimating since they had no way of exiling it.
What cards have impressed you? I keep playing with cards that I like but they aren't necessarily the best. I don't have Waste Nots so I've been sticking to a midrange build rather than discard.
@@LibertyMTG I know you love Aetherborn and it's a great card but I think the Bat is the better two drop in the current meta for a majority of situations. It helps slow down the game until you can invoke. I've tried so many different mono black midrange builds throughout the years for pioneer and we will likely always be behind the rakdos version because of fable and harvester.
@@1kingd2 Yeah I've been stuck on Gifted Aetherborn since it stonewalls aggro decks so well. I've never really been a fan of giving the card back so I haven't given the bat a fair chance. 🤔
mono red is new players?
He was, yeah.
Man!!! This red player reminds me the meme at my locals… “How to unlearn to play a deck” 🤣.
To be fair he is new to the game. But I definitely felt like I was playing his deck for him. 🤷
@@LibertyMTG yeah, you play both decks 😁😁😁, but is so common to give the red deck to the new player.
How has Tiny bones performed for you in the 1 drop spot?

@@LibertyMTG thanks for the insight. I play a lot of mono black and look at your videos often.

Ohh back on mono black again huh? Orzhov not working out or just didn't enjoy it?
I wanted to run Insatiable Avarice so triple black meant going back to monoblack. 😁
@LibertyMTG fair. I've been trying to get a 4 color good stuff deck going for arena standard. Playing everything but red.
@@LibertyMTGdid you manage to pull off the avarice sheoldred combo?
@@shwy Not on camera but I did kill someone by making them draw 3 cards during round 2.
This red player 😬
