  • R53 Intake manifold, production prototype.
    A very complex part, utilizing MJF 3D print technology and billet inserts.
    The latest revision is mainly focused on production cost reduction (thus retail price) and fine tune of assembly.
    On the performance side, we are very happy with the results. Gains in the whole rpm range and lower IATs.

    Have you done any testing with EGT probes? Keen to know if this solves the end cylinder lean issue which they seem to have?

      Our main goal was to maintain, as much as possible, the same pressure in all four runners exit, while maintaining the same outer dimensions as the original unit (which is the main limitation).
      This will help with the issue you describe.

    will it be the nylon. have had intakes on V8 mustangs and others. not a very long longevity. Aluminum maybe ?

      Hi there all our products are lond-term tested by us and by race cars. Additionally they come with warranty.
      One of the main reasons why we choose MJF 3D Printing is that it gives us complete design freedom.

      Thanks. Be honest haven’t had a 3 D one but know racing teams use that a lot. Street longevity would be my only concern. Constant heating and cooling cycles. Not being torn down as much as the race cars helps.

      It is a complicated product plus production cost ie very high. We do try to our best to bring production cost down.

    is possible to fit it on r50? (non s version)

      We never tried it. If the part number is the same as with the Cooper S manifold then it should be ok.
