i like this idea so much. can't help but feel like i found this a bit too early (still in school lol) but ill definitely be thinking abt this. thanks for reaching me
and yet I still don't know what buildspace is, like is it a venture capital firm like yc or do they provide coworking space like wework? vague ass video.

You people are mind-blowing. :) Without people like you, many great ideas would die. My idea (don't know yet if it is great, but it was idle in my mind for many years before I came across your site) Please post snippets into how a Buildspace season would be like. Is there a series of someone documenting their whole journey of building a business? Or of people who were part of their previous runs and did document their journey?
So this is a company that advertises to people with ideas, gets the individuals to teach themselves, execute/fund on said idea until the very end, and then this company gets to capitalize on said idea with a Royalty/Finder Fee %..... THIS IS GENIOUS!!!!!!!!
Hey, does this programme benefit much if we are building a B2B enterprise AI product? Like this feels more beneficial to B2C product. Can you clarify? Thank you.
for some it's easier/motivating when you do it with others you are time bound, so you get to push yourself to meet up you also get the visibility which you might not have gotten working alone that means you've got early users(maybe testers) available
we can do everything alone. get buff, make a big company, eat healthy, get great at a game or sport. but, we choose to do it with others. often because it's not really about the goal, but the friends we make along the way.
Be wary of any company that tries harder to sell your idea to you than you do. There’s no such thing as a company that spends a bunch of money to get you to pitch your ideas, for absolutely nothing in return.
haha no one has ever described us like that. but sure yea if that's what you think it is -- i'll take it XD i do think one key thing to mention here is we focus 10000X more on you actually building your idea vs bullshit like "networking". be ready to focus hard on creating the v1 of your idea, getting it to the world, and iterating.
nah. but, if we see people that really surprise us during the season we'll maybe wire them some travel funds. in general: the sf event is a "if you can make it, you should come" type event. if you can't, oh well -- it's all good. keep building. we will surely cross paths irl soon :)
Buildspace's approach of blending a flexible online platform with an in-person finale is a brilliant way to foster innovation and community among creators! 🚀 It's exciting to see a space that supports entrepreneurial spirits to experiment and grow their ideas into tangible projects.
Run another ad/video in 2 years to remind me if you're still around and I'll totally do this. lol my life is too busy right now with a part-time master's degree.
Good idea in theory, but all it does is make competition and success even rarer. You understand that once you meet someone who knows someone in the tech hub, you build a reputation? Why would you want to crush it this way?
Man, you stole me idea, I planned to build a discord for this, there is even bigger problem when people do not know what to do, giving them a chance is cool . I have come up with ways to do that. Seems like you already have a community, drop a reply to this if interested
Fr I'm wondering if they're just riding the ai/ crypto hype for their own income. No idea though, building my profile with an AI chatbot was a bit goofy but it's cool this exists.
you have no idea how much i resonate with this.
Bro that intro and outro are the greatest I've ever seen
you need a license for all that riding
yea i really fw that outro

Dude I've been thinking about something like this for like years
The urgency stack with not revealing the date is just 👨🍳👌💯
This is huge, I missed out for S5. But, I have been working on nights and weekends on my idea. Looking forward to connect.
Keep killing it Farza 🔥 hope to see you again someday in SF :)
such cool edit !! Can you tell me which font you guys used in the video
Gotta respect how he replies to negative comments
holy moly, this is eye-gasm, W edit.
very neistat energy to this video idk how else to describe it
The algorithm worked, good job guys!
Seems not everyone outside the US can register, I'm from Africa and i had to use a VPN to access the site. 😢
This is so cool 🔥🔥🔥
That’s inspiring ❤🎉
casey neistat's "do what you can't" video vibes.

Really cool ideia! Unfortunately I don't live in the US
I'm from Kenya. I watched this video late. I will be ready for s6.
i give you link maybe try now
Love it
Erlich Bachman is that you XD
LOOOVE this, what is this text font you are using for subtitle?
I also wanna know

this is fucking cool

Soooo dopeeeee
thats pretty cool
if you watching this and thinking about what this is... don't think too much just apply! It will change your life.
That drum beat kinda reminds me of something
the new WeWork
Giving SandBox vibes from that one Korean Drama and I love it
Drama called start-up
@@shidono6786Preciate that bro you’re valid as fuck
They are actually funded by yc combinator that's like a big version of the sandbox
anyone know what font that is?
Cool idea
So what's the catch?
Thats nice
do you guys have any group or like discord server?
videos are nicely made, i registered. very soon realized it was just not worth it.
why would you censor when your applications are closing
Caesy neistat, I felt like it was him
This video found me
wait can anyone explain to me why I need this thing if I can do it all on my own ?

you are time bound, so you get to push yourself to meet up
you also get the visibility which you might not have gotten working alone
that means you've got early users(maybe testers) available

Welcome to capitalism 😃
uhh no they actually dont take anything in return, i was a part for their previous seasons and its incredibly fun
@@maharshiguin7813you're saying you pay absolutely nothing? No fees, no equity nothing?
Buddy the whole point is to help people get a place to start a lot of people have great ideas die because nothing ever comes of them
It’s not a company, it’s an organization
So digital version of wework?
haha no one has ever described us like that.
but sure yea if that's what you think it is -- i'll take it XD

This is awesome, Including Farza's reply, I was just thinking this is like Wework without the bullshit
this is just hackathon with longer time frame
@@revolvencythat’s more like it :)
Is it safe to share your idea with a bunch of other people?
What about international applicants? Do you guys fund them for IRL meetup in SF
Good question
nah.
but, if we see people that really surprise us during the season we'll maybe wire them some travel funds.

the sf event is a "if you can make it, you should come" type event. if you can't, oh well -- it's all good. keep building.

I feel like you would need to secure multiple patents on your idea before going through with the process they provide. Am I crazy?
what value exactly does build space provide if online?
Maybe you should apply and check it out, see for yourself, and bounce if you're not vibing with it.

how is it called the song in the background ? thxx
A tribe called quest - can I kick it?
so basically a wework online lol got it
What if i have any idea of what to do or many ideas?? Can i still join?
you can, but def recommend you to choose 1 lol. many people join unsure of what idea they really wanna do but end up making something banger.

nah like 60% of people are international - worldwide mfers.
just finale is in sf and it’s optional for those who can come.
worldwide :)

why would you not just build it at home?
okay I love this but why start with "build an Ai app for fun", that's like the reverse of relatable isn't it?
