Thank you so much for the tips and encouragement. I am currently in the process of choosing our first curriculum 😬. My oldest just turned five so we will be starting this Fall. No one I know homeschools and my husband and I went to public school so when I tell people that we are going to homeschool we get the weird looks and condescending questions which can be very discouraging but I am convinced this is the best thing for my children and family and I am determined to succeed but it is still very scary just starting out. So glad I found your channel. Lots of love ❤ from Nicole in Indiana

We're pulling our kids out of private church school that used ACE curriculum. I'll have a 9th, 8th, 7th, 3rd grader and a kindergartener. I've been doing lots of research and your videos definitely help, but it still so scary and overwhelming.

100% COVID was our turning point, not because we had to (my kids were too young then) but because I didn’t want them in the system anymore. And that is what I spoke about when I made my first video on why we decide to homeschool. That said, though it was the waking up point, I now couldn’t picture our life without homeschooling. I love all the time I get to spend with my daughters, and this home education journey. It’s as much beneficial to me as it is to them. Thanks for the video loved the encouragement for new homeschoolers!

Hey Friend, Happy Monday. I agree home schooling was never common in the past. I feel like home schooling is much more common now and there’s so many more people home schooling. 😊

What curriculum do you use? Math You See. And what others? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for this video! Starting my first year homeschooling my kindergarten. This was encouraging! I think I asked you this before but what curriculum do you use for math for your Littles? I know you do teaching textbooks around grade 3 I belive? What do you use up until then again?

Excellent tips, thank you. I’m just wrapping up my first year with my son. Just finishing Grade K. I do think more than not you have to be flexible and learn what works for your specific child, and certainly not compare to others or take others criticism.

We did online school and are switching to regular homeschool. We would get negativity because people are like online public school isn't homeschool. I plan in ethier book shark or moving beyond the page next school year.

My daughter starts kindergarten in the fall. We pulled her in January from pre k and used The Good and the Beautiful for remaining year. We love it but she does better in mastery program from language arts. You gave me the confidence in myself to do it. Thank you

Oh Julie, this is all such good advice! I wish that I had someone like you to encourage me along the way when we homeschooled. We made so many mistakes and yet it all worked out just fine. You and your channel are a blessing!
