OCEAN DIVA arrives at Tilbury Landing Stage on 19 May 2023. OCEAN DIVA had been towed from Ijmuiden in the Netherlands by the tug Kingston. She will eventually be used as a floating venue in London.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind comment. Yes - she does look nice. Kingston has a very nice sounding engine. It was like listening to a steam engine!
@@ThamesShips Seems she had a little bump the other day....rumour is that she lost power... "It is unclear who was piloting the boat at the time it crashed with the anchor but a Maritime and Coastguard Agency inspector was on board." Oooops.
@@stevecollins6422 Thanks for the info 👍Oh dear - that is not good! I did notice that she was meant to sail through Tower Bridge in both directions on 26th June but on the day, it suddenly disappeared from the Tower Bridge lift schedule website. I thought about going to see it as it would have been the first time(s) through Tower Bridge! On a completely separate note, it looks like there are two Royal Marine landing craft sailing up the Thames tomorrow morning. The PLA web site says they are due in London at 6am!
@stevecollins6422 It looks like they have changed the arrival time on the PLA website to midnight but I am not sure that they can get into St Katharine Docks at that time of night!

Thank you hard working tugs as well. You're wonderful!

I've seen pics of her arriving at tilbury and wondered if you were around to film. Kingston has had a colour change since I last saw her.
Kingston sounded great. It was like listening to a steam engine!
@@ThamesShips I filmed Kingston and goliath departing Great Yarmouth a few years ago and sounded the same.
I had to look at the description to figure out what it was...at first though it was a yacht..a really strange yacht lol
Thanks for watching. Yes - I think it still requires fitting out and refurbishing before it is ready for public use!
nice video, its interesting how a lot of people seem to be opposing the idea of ocean diva
Yes - I saw that there was a number of objections.
@@ThamesShips Seems like they have given up on London.
A pretty barge
Thanks - she is going to be used as a floating restuarant / night club and entertainment ceentre.
