edoras was on the evil campaign in bfme 1, but there wasnt any map :(
wasnt in the good campaign too?
@@thebeaverqueen2096 not that iremember, though i havent played it in years. Im pretty sure the good campaign was the fellowship journey, and that didnt involve edoras at all.

Edoras was indeed in BFME1, but only for the evil campaign, you couldn't play maps like minas tirith in the normal skirmish.
EDIT: HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE, why did they have to bring the leveling thing back? ;-; I hated that feature, it was always so annoying when you wanted specific things like higher ranking units.
The torch of wildman is ridiculous and unrealistic, the could throw them like f**king grenade

Well that banner wall upgrade was in bfme originally and edain took it over again then.

One of the main draws of BFME 2 for me was that it had all the epic fortresses as playable maps in WotR mode and skirmish mode. Every fortress map except... Edoras now that I think about it. I wonder why Edoras was not included?

BFME1 also had those wall banners which give armor and damage boost.
And how can you not know that Stables icon was a horse!! xD
most of the models and things like the banners are from the first battle for middle earth just like the voices of the archers, they used to be called yeoman archers, and originally the peasants were rohan soldiers because you had a rohan and gondor faction. Armies of men would start with castles with walls and Mordor and isengard huge camps with no walls
They used Mel Gibson's Braveheart voice for Theodred.

Sorry Ruud but I had to address this: Were you aware that in 3.8, Rohan can also use the Draft ability on peasants? You gave the impression at the beginning that you didn't. Also, there is another ability in 3.8 that turns the peasants in to basic Rohan infantry (Sword, spear and axe variety), which also enables their upgrades. You didn't mention it in your Rohan overview so it seemed you were unaware of it. Sorry, it shouldn't bother me, but it does a little.

just a tip to every one use eastfold riders against spearmen, as the only thing that makes spearmen effective against cav is there anti trample damage. the reason to use eastfold is that in there second formation(line)they cant trample.

the decrease in the cost for rohirrim is essential because in multiplayer the rohirim are just op some races don't get spears fast enough and the rohirim don't die immediatly to them and u can bring them down to 350 and pump them faster out then the others get spears and with the spellbook spell that your riders don't get slowed while overriding theres no good answer for them
i love ur videos i am a huge lord of the rings fan. I challenge u to a skirmish on the map minas tirith on edain 4.0 as gondor or arnor against 3 brutal mordor

Just wondering why do u charge your calvary into the Spearman it seems really counter productive haha
U could have the best stray if every time u make 2 units you upgrade your production buildings to make more money this allows u to quickly make the better stuff . But hey I'm just a person on the inter-webs !
When you upload Edain mod does make a whole new game or does it change your ROTWK? Also does war of the ring mode work in the mod?
Makes a new game so you can select between rotwk and Edain. Also I tried war of the ring and it was very buggy, however I tried to play it in 4.0 and I think it's been improved in 4.1
the wall banners were in bfme 1 !!!!!!!
Command points are broken on legendary heroes atm, if a player is defeated they drop to 600. If you replayed it on normal mode it would work. Legendary heroes should be fixed next patch.
ahh ok sweet. I think legendary heroes is broken anyway lol. I was losing hardcore yesterday, made Aragorn and managed to push it back lol.
Yeah I haven't tried it out myself, I have a hard enough time with the AI's heroes on normal haha. Apparently the plan is to move legendary heroes to the exploration mod and change the current legendary heroes to some new game mode. en.modding-union.com/index.php/topic,30638.0.html

When i tried playing edoras map, game turns off, how to fix edoras map? Btw i played isengard( cured) and full army, bam it crashes and turns off game again how to fix this?

u should make towers on the outside to kill the wildmen so they cant kill the towers the archers on rohan are a waste of money and the wildmen are op as hell

If you want to get the Edain mod then you will need the full game, the Forshire version cuts out some files.
Because the game is no longer licensed you can get it here, although you might have issues with the CD keys.
This folder has everything you need to play pretty much any version.

Oh then never mind, I had heard of people having problems when using the Forshire versions, out of curiosity, do you have his versions of both BFME2 and RotWK?

And online works fine? I wonder if there is any performance difference once Edain is added on, as I know the Forshire version is much smaller and is supposed to have better load times.
I also had all original disks, hell I had 3 sets so my brothers and I could LAN. Sadly my brothers lost all the documentation and nearly all the disks.

Actray royol archers are not new they where in Edwin mod 4.0
do a tower defense only using only the royal archers
I have searched Desura for this mod, where I cannot find it, and would much prefer it to be installed automaticly, if that is not possible however, could you provide a link to the mod?
The mod comes with an installer. Google "Edain 4" and it should be the top link. It's like a 1.7gb file or around there and it's simply an installer that does everything for you

Yeah, after a while I guess this could be map related. Because since I wrote this I played a lot of other games and it does not happen that often anymore. Maybe you should try to update your Mod in the Launcher. That could solve the problem. Maybe ... thats what also I did.
