- When it comes to Cusco, most people think of Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail. But there's much more to the region. That's why I set out to explore the ancient trail system of the Inca's and it's lesser known branches. But first, I explore Ollantaytambo's white water rafting and more of the cultural heritage of the region.

Looks amazing so far, wish I could join sometime! Can't wait for more videos of your trip
Thanks! It's such a beautiful place!
I have LOVED all your videos on Peru (#1 on my bucket list). Maybe you could do a video on international travel for backpacking some day? Just general tips and guidance on how to travel with gear, etc. I have not done much Intl travel and none with backpacking as the destination, so hearing about your experiences and advice would be great.
Just realized you DID do a video on International Trekking (completely missed it!). It was very informative. Thank you!
@chrisbrown8787 any link on that video
When I start traveling the world, I can tell food is going to be a tough challenge in some parts of the world. Good thing I have an iron stomach 😝
that's the best part of travel in my opinion! It usually works out in the end ;)
Great show. Heading to Peru in a few months if the political situation calms down. Does this trek route have a name?
Cooo-e or Cuy?
Spelling or pronunciation?
@@BackpackingTV - Pronunciation, I heard it as you'd say cuy - have I been saying it wrong like a chumpanzee? Also great video.
Now that was tempting 👀💦
it's a beautiful place!
