@@ErikSilva-hj6eg I probably would've liked childhood of a leader except for the fact it was recommended to me with a ludicrous level of hype as literally the greatest film of the 21st century (which it is nowhere near, of course)

Small captions identifying each person might be nice; a tad hard to recognise them all esp when it's the non-actors involved behind the scenes. But we wanna appreciate their choices too!
How cool for Stacy Martin to love Breaking the Waves so much and to get to be Lars von Trier leading lady after that, she was truly phenomenal in Nymphomaniac.
I like Adrien Brody's picks the most, De Niro is one of my favorite actors of all time and his Scorsese movies fits him like a glove (especially his gangster roles) and There Will Be Blood is a masterpiece.
Good thing Mona Fastvold plans to show her daughter the wonderful Fanny and Alexander. My mother introduced me to this masterpiece when I was 10 years old and it is one of my favorite films.
Это первый раз, когда выбор всех участников очень интересен. Особенно выбор Корберта. Вот там безумие! Спасибо, Letterboxd. Продолжайте делать то, что вы делаете ))
These are my favorite videos on RUclips. I love hearing everyone's picks but is it possible to start adding the person picking's name on the screen? It would be super helpful for a lot of the people that aren't as well known or are usually behind the camera.
Strong finish with Naked and Manila! I am happy I got to meet Kathrine Cartridge. She was standing alone in a theater lobby waiting to present her movie 3 Steps to Heaven.

I thought Corbet would drop some Michael Haneke movies on his top 4 before it got narrowed down to one type of movie. can always count on at least one mention in these videos of either scorsese, coppola, kubrick or bergman
I took note, they mentioned really interesting films, some even not so well known...😉 I would love it if Raffey Cassidy opened the account, I'm sure it would provide a lot of satisfaction, from the choices she has made you can see that she has culture about cinema!😉🎬
I think some of the best ones are: Hero, A Swedish love story, Blue is the warmest color, Whats eating Gilbert Grape, Prisoners, Chinatown, Taxi Driver and Cinema Paradiso. Sorry couldnt stick to only 4.
These guys killed it. Naming so many of my favorite films of all time. I still don’t get the Jurassic Park thing though. Maybe I’m too old. Why not Raiders, or Close Encounters And Hell Yeah for buffalo 66, maybe the first of possibly second time someone has said the title. It’s really good, even if Vincent is crazy
It's funny how these actors give all of these thought-provoking films that not as many people are familiar with, then feel like they have to explain why they chose Jurassic Park. JP was a fantastic film. There's no shame in choosing that being one.
To whoever edited this, thank you SO much for putting all 4 of the person's movies together, instead of splitting them up.
brady corbet has come a long way man, cool to see him getting so much love
Vox Lux is criminally underrated.

Uh, best episode of this ever? Enjoyable and surprising, some great picks.
“You Were Never Really Here” is so great, never talked about enough and JP is tremendous in it.
People will start talking about it more when Ramsay's next movie, starring Jennifer Lawrence, comes out.
The movie that Joker wanted to be

This is maybe the most “art house” / cinephile choices of any red carpet event. Marketa Lazarova is a deep cut, brutal pick.
but also jurassic park twice
@@THEOBSEEN it's too bad felicity jones couldn't fully own including jurassic park without being all like "but only cuz nostalgia, guys! i'm an arteest!"
@ RIGHT! It’s not a guilty pleasure. It’s a legitimately great film

Buffalo 66, masterpiece. Possibly my favorite cinematography of all time.

it’s weird because they’re always on-and-off - some recent red carpet videos had them, this one doesn’t
Yes please! I don't know nobody in most of these videos
Come and See, You Were Never Really Here, and American Psycho in one list. That lady is up to something.
Loved all their picks, big shoutout to Ghost Dog

he seems to be an unapologetic film bro
Holy F the Virgin Spring might be the best movie ever made. So major props to you, whoever you are.
And Buffalo '66! These are my bros and we can hang out if you want to hit be up sometime
That's Brady Corbet
POLA X wow I've never seen anyone give much credit to this film. One of my faves as well. Love
Adrien Brody had a solid list.
Moonlight was also bought up and that was so cool
You Were Never Really Here pick shook me, criminally underrated. What a masterpiece
Brutalist people be like: Come and See, In the Realm of the Senses, Gummo, and... Jurassic Park
I remember someone once said that "Come and See" is the scariest movie ever made, and it's not even a horror movie. They're 100 percent correct.
Horror movies never rank among the scariest films ironically.
Good thing Mona Fastvold plans to show her daughter the wonderful Fanny and Alexander. My mother introduced me to this masterpiece when I was 10 years old and it is one of my favorite films.
I’ll be ready when this movie is actually out near me
The last scene of Beau Travail made me want to start the movie over.
This is the rhythm of the night...
One of the most bold endings I’ve seen in any film
Come and See, You Were Never Really Here, *and* American Psycho? She's now in my watchlist.
Mona Fastvold, Brady Corbet and Daniel Blumberg: finally some real cinephile taste👌

Daniel Blumberg's picks 🔥
I miss Yuck
Wonderful cinema picks.
Brady Corbet is Simon Killer. Blew my mind when I realized that.
Great, great picks from everyone!
First time I’ve seen someone picking Ghostdog, such an underrated movie, one of Forrest Whitaker best movies for sure.
The guy who picked it was in the movie as Raymond the ice cream man
