I really like how they emphasize that Broly's transformation/ ki is different from a normal saiyan's. That sound it makes and the way it's charged. Almost as If Broly's energy flows out of his body at such a constant rate that he re-draws the energy from around him that has already leaked to form it into an attack.
Yeah right, he's the Legendary Saiyan afterall bro 😎 He's literally the "Big Daddy" to all Saiyans ever existed 😂 There's a massive power gap between Broly and any other Saiyan, including Goku, Vegeta and what not 😉
You just answered your own question bruh 😑 lol I know you were just speculating but imo That's how it works Him transforming into lssj Is the same concept too just waaaaaay more energy
I mean he ran at Picolo to send him flying and then blasted him away , this fits as him flying just to stop and kick oponent away would be out of place .
You know, I actually like him shouting "Ultimate Move!" It's kinda like a tounge-in-cheek self-reference. Like how in Dissidia Cloud(And Tifa) would shout "Breaking my limit!" whenever they successfully pulled off their limit breaks.
I've always felt like the energy attacks in Raging Blast were...underwhelming. Most of the supers cause minor explosions, and in the case of SSJ1 Broly's trap shooter, they have minimal impact at all. I've noticed that lack of impact effect for a lot of moves in this game. Even some of the ultimate explosions effects aren't all that great compared to BT3, like Cell's Solar Kamehameha for example. Just a small observation of mine, probably the only thing about this game that bugs me.
Fact, the ability Brolly uses in his final form, is the same move he used against Piccolo when he first fought Goku, Gohan and Trunks, so was the bounce off the head.
4:30 The reason why it fades to black, I just figured out, is because it fades in the second Broly movie. Right as soon as Gohan's blasted with the Eraser Blow, the screen fades for a second. Technically, the move is more accurate then.
The fade to black makes the move look darker which fits his persona. I like it. And the ultimate move. They really need to change the "ultimate move part"
I think that SSJ 3 Broly runs up to oponent in his ultimate is like adding to how he doesn't need to hurry or fly to someone , i mean it's similar to what happened in a Legendary Super Sayan movie where he kicks Picolo away and blasts him after the kick if not the same except in there he doesn't go through anyone to get to Picolo .
You are 100% correct in the fact that Broly states, "...Ultimate move..." That's so unorthodox for his character.....hell, Broly never even states one of his attacks in any of the movies....And I agree with you, they could have done so much more with his SSJ3 abilities, more so than his ultimate attack. I don't understand why they felt the need to recycle his attacks just because it's part of his "normal attacks." For us fans, we want to see variety, especially with this Brock Lesnar fighter
At first I thought Broly said 'Your time is through!' or something when he finished the Omega Blaster. Knowing that it says this is indeed a bit of a let down, but I can't get over how casually he destroys the blast in their hands compared to, say, Goku and his Super Spirit Bomb; just a flick and you're dead.
Me coming back here after all these years cuz I finally found out why it fades to black on Eraser Blow 😂😂 watchin Second Coming rn and it legit fades to black when he hits Gohan with it, appreciate that lil detail way more
the ultimate in ssj3 form exists, but Broly used it in the LSSJ form in the movie. they should have put it as a rush attack for LSSJ Broly, and invented somthing new for the ssj3 form. anyway, a good ultimate.
It's probably already been mentioned, but the reason the screen fades to black is because it's mirroring the way it happened in Second Coming when he used it on Gohan near the end. I agree that screaming ULTIMATE MOVE is sort of...stupid, though. It's funny how he kinda just nods to himself afterward like he's saying "aw yeah, that was awesome." Also, he's not saying "here"; he's just yelling. Just saiyan.
I really like his base form. He actually looks normal for a change, rather than the 6 foot wide shoulder blades he grows. I mean really. Look at them. That can't be pleasant. They stick up a full 7 inches from the rest of his body. Also, when his hair clips through his leg in his SSJ3 form, I'm pretty sure it's not clipping there. His hair is just that sharp. Little known fact: The hair of those who go SSJ are used as can openers.
@Marius2104 Actually, he does say "Ultimate Move". If it sounds like "Ultimate Boom", then it's probably because the sound of the attack is interfering.
4:32 It fades to black because that's what happens in his second movie, Second Coming, that exact attack is applied to Gohan and the black fade is clearly seen. (I don't know why I comment on a video from 13 years ago xdxdxd)
I, personally, LOVE Revenge Demon. It's like, he'd transform, and I'd be all, 'okay, okay...so he's a Super Saiyan now. But alright, he doesn't get much stronger. And it could be worse. He could be Legendary. I'll just-' *Broly promptly shows his superiority and kicks my ass* And it's sooo satisfying to use it on someone. Namely, my cousin.
If you watched the movie, you wouldn't be saying that. Broly and his father's original goal was to kill Vegeta, they acted like he was prince and led him to a planet that was going to be destroyed by a meteor in a few days. Meanwhile Goku was following a trail of energy from this "other super saiyan" in the south galaxy. Goku trailed the energy to the broly planet and paragus knew him, they invited him in, but one day before vegeta went out to look for the saiyan, broly snapped and attacked.
Normally, SS Broly has blue hair. So whats up with giving him the generic golden hair? Also when Broly says "Ultimate move!", it makes the move a real ultimate because it IS an ulitmate.
@Omega2040 the reson for the fading to black becuse if you seen broly the second coming he uses it on gohan and in the movie the screen fades to black. so they got it right on that part.
I can't get over the fact that Super Saiyan 3 Broly looks so much better in the first game. While in Raging Blast 2, they ruined his hair by making it look green as fuck. It took away that super saiyan look, since his hair is supposed to be a mix of yellow and green. Not Full on green.
Graphics on Raging Blast 2 sucked, they went from 3D drawing looking excellent graphics on Raging Blast, to goofy, gum looking graphics on Raging Blast 2, seriously they look like they’re made out of Bubblegum, they look too goofy for my taste, while Raging Blast graphics looked like drawings
Raging Wolf 21 IMO, Raging Blast 2 had the better graphics. Everything was well defined and intricate. The fighting felt better, too. Should’ve added some sort of story mode, though, to show it off in a more cinematic way. Oh, well.
@TheRagingBlast He also lost to a half unconscious Goku who got next to no energy from his half unconscious friends and then beat Broly with a single punch.
At 3:14, Broly made a little giggle! If you listen closely, you'll hear it. I didn't think my hearing was correct, but I listened four more times. Creeped me out a little to hear such a buff guy laughing like a little school girl...
You know the people in charge of the games. They usually just directly translate the Japanese script. I don't know what Broly says in Japanese this time around, but if he said Ultimate Move, he could've said Hissatsu Waza or something in Japanese.
@INUYASHA12398 That's only because his Super Saiyan power was being supressed by Paragus' special 'emotion controlling' device. Or something like that. Either way, the device somehow caused his hair to turn blue when he went Super Saiyan.
Goku's crying was like a subconscious trigger than anything else. After what happened all in one day- Goku is recognized as the beginning of it by Broly, and equated to a harbinger of that same pain.
I have no problem with it fading to black. I just don't like the fact that fading to black means that it's an attack that doesn't tear the opponent to shreds (shredding the opponent's cloth's) which I think it Eraser Blow should do. Only attacks that fade to white can do that.
@Vader3123 With Androids 14 and 15 he gave them good reviews and even said that their good because of the murder ball, volley and ultimates. Although with the storm 2 characters your kinda right.
It's still awesome that even with this DBZ game being the beginning of the Xbox 360 era, there are still some quotes from the Budokai Tenkachi games in this game.
Has no one else noticed that his ss1 form has regular gold hair instead of his normal blue? Also, this may not be a bad deal if the icon didnt have blue hair as well.
have to agree with most of what you said. Saying ultimate move in the end sounds really lame, and not only that, I don't like the way he just gently sends the second blaster projectile. In BT3, he does it in a more raw and no bullshit way. aside from that, absolutely love his eraser blow, the ruthlessness is impecable, just wish it didn't fade to black (or fade to anything at all) and just switched the view back. Aside from all that, absolutely hate his LSS3 moveset just because of the ultimate. He looks so dimwitted and daft when running, and it isn't a much elaborate move at all. Much rather he had a different version of omega blaster or something.
5 years old, I know, but his SS3 form’s ultimate was taken directly from the first movie, if you didn’t know, and the fade to black is taken directly from the second movie. The game was just doing it’s job.

Ssj 3 Broly's ultimate is a copy of what he did in his the first movie. The headbutt is what he does to Trunks (I think) and the run, kick, and blast is what he does to Piccolo.
I agree on the whole "Ultimate Move" thing he says. I mean, we already know it's his ultimate move, so why say it? I think his line was better in BT3 where he says "Struggle all you want, in the end you're still DEAD!" Eraser Blow does look awesome and Eraser Volley definitely is a good volley attack and I agree with everyone who already mentioned about Eraser Blow fading to black. In movie 10 when he blasted Gohan with it, the scene faded to black.
I really like how they emphasize that Broly's transformation/ ki is different from a normal saiyan's. That sound it makes and the way it's charged. @Steve Focks I know that he kicked him and blasted him away.
