The graphics and visuals look amazing. This game is both rpg and strategy which is exactly what I've been looking for. I just hope that it can be played in low end devices.
The map can be chose in the terminal so rendering would be quite fast as long as you have an ssd or ufs file type storage. Since this is a tech demo, this might be the highest graphical settings so yeah it would run on a potato 🥔
Holy! They're actually using their CGI techniques in the game now! I knew their CGI trailers were way too good for just being trailers. Really glad to see their CGI has its own recognizable style. Also, I'm getting Homeworld Desserts of Kharak vibes from this game lol
While this particular video doesn't really feel all that Homeworld-y to me, the fact that everyone relies on huge landships to get around and even have battleship versions is _very_ much like that.

On pc u can just literally rendered anything but for mobile u need to make it more optimized based on most phones resolution or rendering and it is tiring and that's why (example only) genshin took nearly 2 years before releasing the game... Sometimes error or bugs which is harder to debug when it comes to mobile-type of said games
Its an open world i think and not like some sort of linear stage that has limited exploration, maybe the map is bigger than what we're seeing right now, remember that this is a demo so let's wait and see for more
Really excited for this. Between this, the site, and the concept trailer, I still really have no idea what we're in for, but this might actually be the most excited I am for a game at the moment, even if we have to wait a while before it comes out. In particular, I'm really interested to see how this is connected to Arknights on the whole, since it takes place on another planet, which means it's either separate, but connected, or there's somewhere on Terra with the tech developed to colonize other worlds. Either open up a whole lot of possibilities for both Arknights itself, and the potential franchise on the whole.
Personal theory, Endfield is probably ages before Arknights started. If it was, it'll explain why there's "ancient" techs like Sarchophagus and the big ass false ocean of Dossoles (also the strangely advanced society of the Abyss). Possibly denoting the true identity and species of Doctor since he's the only one unaffected after using said Sarchophagus(Mephisto did, now he's an actual beast).The orbital drop package means that they can traverse through space, but it could just be that Endfield's set in the future. That aside, Terra _is_ bigger than Earth, so Endfield could've been humans discovering Terra, landing in the Undiscovered Territory. So many questions, too few answers. Does't curb the hype train tho
@@rainedans8684 Well, the problem is that at the very least, the main characters shown are all Terran races, not standard humans, (though there's an old man in one of the concept arts on the site that could possibly be human), so that's why I'm not so sure on those theories. If it took place in the past there would potentially be more humans around as indicated by *SPOILERS* Priestess appearing to be a human and both her and the Doctor being present at some point when PRTS was initially activated. If it was humans discovering Terra, the same would apply, and even more so the other races likely wouldn't be present. Though there is the possibility that this is something to do with the distant lands that have been mentioned on Terra that no one in the areas we've seen have knowledge on, as those lands could have more advanced tech. It could even be that the new areas we're seeing are part of those very same areas, and it's all been separated by the energy barrier that we see in the main trailer. It could even be that Talos-II which they've said is a new planet, might just be that civilization's name for Terra, and we see that reveal later on in the story. There's a lot of directions this and everything else could go. I get the feeling that across everything Arknights related, HG is going to just keep giving us pieces of the puzzle that could all mean a thousand things, before they add one final piece that links them all together to show us the full picture.

Hypergryph is going ham ever since the 2.5 Anniversary mark, they’re not hesitant to further expand the world of Terra, the 3d animations have been sick, then we got anime and now an RPG. I’m excited to be able to see the world of Terra in 3d enviroment, since all we got were backgrounds with a very ‘dark’ tone to it, This RPG took on more of the ‘Mysterious world’ enviroment rather than being straight up depressing. Now I only wonder if we get to see Rhodes Island in 3d, since I don’t really care about the terrain, I wanna see the base and the characters if they are willing to push it that far. All in all, very excited, good stuff Hypergryph, Love Arknights, Please just continue to grow like this, Passion never fails. Edit: Oh, there might not be Rhodes, well, I suppose that’s fine too.

With what I've seen from Arknights, they are definitely more capable than whatever they already did with Arknights. I hope with Endfield, Hypergryph can show the new limits of what they can do.
Honestly, Arknights is undervalued. It is nice that it will get anime and this spinoff-game (I hope that it will be for pc and consoles, not phones). It would be cool in the future to see, like, a hack-and-slash or even an rpg.
I know everyone is excited for Endfield, I am too, it looks great, but remember to temper your expectations. I played Destiny for almost 5 years, so I know a thing or two about being disappointed when things aren't as grand as you expected.

I have a few fond memories of Destiny. Running VoG with DA BOYZ, sparrow racing, and the eternal Trials of Osiris grind. I can safely say that Destiny was a vast pile of bullshit, but had its moments. Endfield looks to be an open world hack n slash sort of affair, most reminiscent of Nier: Automata. Which is a good thing.
If Arknights and Punishing Gray Raven had a mixture together, I am 100% sure this is where we'd be. Honestly, this game has so much potential it's unreal, it can literally look, feel and BE better than Genshin Impact.
If you might be wondering what does GI have to do with this, it's the sole reason that GI has become the highest standard for an anime-styled game, and if Arknights Endfield is to break that standard and rise above it, who knows where this game can lead us and the gaming industry.

I’ve always loved the lore of Arknights, and the story was interesting, I just couldn’t play the game because the tower defense got old after the first couple missions. But 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨……actually being able to see the world of Arknights is just incredible and definitely a game I’m going to be following very, very closely until release 😁
Honestly if you could give it a chance you could try to play more of Arknights itself and reach the later chapters, the early chapters does feel really weak in both story and gameplay but once you reach at least chapter 4 onwards until chapter 9 the game turns into a different kind of tower defense.
Arknights has come a long way from when it began. This looks sooooooo damn good so far and really promising!! I really hope this turns out to be a tremendously successful and amazing game!
The Game UI is so freaking cool, And the graphics, ooh man they nailed it so hard. But, this demo was only and introduction to the gameplay, we're yet to see the fighting mechanics.(that's what I'm excited about) I'm all in. Imagine being able to see your favourite arknights character in 3D. (*≧▽≦)

@@zealsora02 Yes and no, although they didn't utilize the hype of the announcement trailer, it's not the main purpose of it. Instead it's a way to gather attention for recruitment/hiring, when Ex Astris got revealed they posted a bunch of positions on their dedicated hiring website and it got expanded even more when Endfield was first shown to the public and right now they are still posting new positions almost every week, some for Endfiend, some for Ex Astris.

@@verner3600 That's the exciting part, we don't know, could be the past (since we see a lot of lost advanced technology on terra in ak) or could be the future.
I’ve always loved the lore of Arknights, and the story was interesting, I just couldn’t play the game because the tower defense got old after the first couple missions. But 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨……actually being able to see the world of Arknights is just incredible and definitely a game I’m going to be following very, very closely until release 😁
Honestly if you could give it a chance you could try to play more of Arknights itself and reach the later chapters, the early chapters does feel really weak in both story and gameplay but once you reach at least chapter 4 onwards until chapter 9 the game turns into a different kind of tower defense.

And the graphics, ooh man they nailed it so hard.
But, this demo was only and introduction to the gameplay, we're yet to see the fighting mechanics.(that's what I'm excited about)

@@zealsora02 Yes and no, although they didn't utilize the hype of the announcement trailer, it's not the main purpose of it. Instead it's a way to gather attention for recruitment/hiring, when Ex Astris got revealed they posted a bunch of positions on their dedicated hiring website and it got expanded even more when Endfield was first shown to the public and right now they are still posting new positions almost every week, some for Endfiend, some for Ex Astris.

@@XiuhFen well as you can see in the demo, it's more of a hack and slash like honkai and pgr or more of an arpg like genshin
