I actually have a Theory™about this: The Wolf (as in, Kindred's Wolf) takes Ambessa to the most appropriate afterlife for her, but ... there isn't just one. The first one we see (that we later see Kindred in) is a Noxian afterlife. A sort of, hall of heroes. There, Lamb (the Noxian Lamb, incredibly buff and even has Wolf's mask) offers death to people (the wolf-headed statuette). The Shuriman part we see is the Shuriman afterlife, with Kindred there too. The drummers/blue skinned screamers are Lamb, and the chaotic masked figures are Wolf. She's holding her innocence (the lamb statue). We also see the Targonian afterlife, and I think that's LITERALLY The Aspect Of War (dead now) challenging Ambessa. And finally we see ... The Death Realm. Mordekaiser's realm. Where Ambessa sees visions of the past and future in regards to herself. So she is torn between these afterlives, being in all of them and none of them at once. But in all of them, she accepts the challenge given. Lamb gives her the challenge to become legend, by taking the wolf statuette and surviving. In Shurima, she offers up her innocence to be torn apart. With The Aspect of War, she accepts the duel and keeps fighting, even after being defeated (which The Warrior respects). In The Death Realm, she accepts a throne with a sword (afterlife Ambessa WILL be one of Mordekaiser's generals). So what we see of her in her skin is an undead Ambessa, almost like Yone or Senna. But what brings her back to life is her child. She lives for her family. As she says in Arcane, "I will burn the world to protect this family." However, Kindred is the one that saves her. It's hard to tell, but there appears to be runes on the ground that are just fading when we get back to her in the real world, and when we zoom out we see a slight circle around Ambessa. That's Lamb's Respite, Kindred's Ult in League. Kindred saves Ambessa from this torn apart afterlife, but she already sacrificed her innocence (lamb statue in Shurima).
How I interpret the music video: In a near death state, it seems Ambessa's consciousness went to the Noxian mythos Volrachnun (a type of "Valhalla" realm of honorably fallen warriors, from the past, present, and possible future), was tested (sacrificed a peaceful life and death from the Lamb, and standing her ground to the Wolf), and was proven worthy of joining the pantheon of "Wolf's Chosen" in the afterlife. But then her unborn child (Mel), which appears to have magical powers, was able to subconsciously use its magic to resuscitate Ambessa and brought her back from her near death state / Volrachnun.
The child didn't use magic, that was the wolf marking the child. Kindred is the one that actually saves Ambessa. In fact, Kindred used their ultimate ability "Lambs Respite" which creates a zone wherein all living creatures within it cannot die while the zone is active. They used this ability in order to prevent her from dying while they tested her. If she would have failed the wolf would have taken her, but she fought endlessly and earned the respect of Kindred who then complete the spell which heals all units in that zone. (look for the red runes on the ground around her when she finally comes to). Kindred stabilized her. Also if you zoom in on the circle Ambessa you 'll see the runes of the spell etched onto the soil. Of course the runes fade when wolf/kindred leaves.
@@revendax2584 I can see this interpretation being true, where Kindred was keeping Ambessa alive long enough to test her on whether she's worthy of being "Chosen by the Wolf". Though I will still say that the unborn baby contributed in bringing back Ambessa from Volrachnun, as the music video specifically switched back and forth between Ambessa in Volrachnun and the unborn baby. When the unborn baby opened its glowing eyes, the scene after was when Ambessa's consciousness left Volrachnun and re-awakened in the material realm.
So the theory that is going on in this is basically Ambessa is pregnant in the war. She should've actually died but since she has a child that wasn't supposed to die yet, the wolf didn't take Ambessa and let her live with her child on her womb. And the rest of the cinematic is basically her leaving her innocent lives and basically foughting for survival and joining the noxus beliefs (I think). That's my interpretation in it.
she's dying, the wolf (death) seeing her potential offers a trade for the childs life for hers(the lamb, also symbolizing the death of innocence/ the child)/ Kindred offers power and life to her in exchange for her fighting in his name and taking her kid as a sacrifice
Remember that all noxians wants to die in battle, so they want to follow the wolf and for that to happen they need to give up the posibility of a peacefull end, or in other words, they want to become the chosen of the wolf 🎉🎉
We all know by now , Ambessa is not a Noxian .. shes from Shurima for sure given the golden colors . So the lamb symbolises the peaceful life she had , thats because if she was a full noxian there will be no lamb because the worship the wolf .
just wanna let you know that spideraxe tweeted on x that a novel about "Ambessa - Chosen of the Wolf" will be coming out on 18th of feburary 2025. I am guessing all the questions to this vision in this MV will be answered there ;) Also this MV is confirmed to be canon (as a vision of Ambessa ;D) Also her bio is out on universe by now.

Mel is the Chosen by the Wolf
@DBT1007 Ambessa is chosen as well though? But Mel got the gift
she's dying, the wolf (death) seeing her potential offers a trade for the childs life for hers(the lamb, also symbolizing the death of innocence/ the child)/ Kindred offers power and life to her in exchange for her fighting in his name and taking her kid as a sacrifice
isnt the child Mel tho
@@opaquea2448 opp, Nvm, Yeah being pregnant wil Mel, the brother was already born n "not that great" gotta love the lore dropping
In ambessa lore it says she was pregnant with mel, só sorry, it's not right
