      When I did it it caught the paper on fire so this hack absolutely doesn't work 🙄😩😭

    Have you tried using a heat gun? I would guess that it would work too and with less chance of burning the paper.

    I love this, I’ve always been a fan of uncharted and I’ve always noticed how they would write each other notes like this and I’ve always wondered how, I always carry a lighter around too so this is amazing

    We can also write with onion paste grind the onions and make them as paste and write on paper let it dry after drying keep it in light then you can see the result

      You can see the paper is wet and shiny with the ink.

    Thanks for making this video, do you know why the liquid turns brown? Is it a result of the type of paper used or is it a caramelization process. It surprised me when you got results with water.

      Once the ink has developed it is permanent.

      An incandescent light bulb can be a safer way of heating the paper.

      if you apply the "ink" too thick it may show, but just a tiny bit should be virtually invisible.

    Do you reckon this would work on materials other than paper? For example, draw a pattern on fabric, iron it to apply heat to create a permanent decorative pattern?

      Probably not, it is possible but I would stick to dye for fabrics.

      This is a cotton paper, but almost anything will work, you can even use a light bulb to heat it more gently.
