✨ 👉🏼 Both verbs, SER and ESTAR translate to ‘’to be’’ in English, but they are used in different situations. Can you identify which phrases are correct and which ones are not?
✅✅ Correct:
✅ Mi hermana es mi mejor amiga.

✅ Mi fiesta de cumpleaños será en el parque.
Location of events
✅ Estoy emocionada por viajar a México.
Emotions
✅ Mi cantante favorito está muerto.
Being dead or alive
❌❌ Incorrect:
❌ Mañana está viernes y está mi día favorito de la semana.

No es perfecto lo siento. I am a gringo but I would say: Yo estoy aquí para estudiar español y aprender hablar mejor. You don’t need to use “yo” with estoy because it is included. Hopefully.
