There is a valid reason we won't be seeing giant MECHS in real life warfare. Giant MECHS = giant TARGETS. There are so many Jets copters and jets that could take it out. This is why tanks are specifically made with a very low profile. Trust me I hate to say this. But it's true thourgh

In the Origin, you can see how the first MS just shred through Federation ships because of how fast they are combined with the firepower they can carry and unleash at a much shorter range than any other artillery vehicle.

I already predicted in the comments section of a starwars video that "the Ball" from the original ms Gundam show would be what spice "fighter jets" would become. Because of their maneuverability. Because you don't need wings, aerodynamics, or constant forward motion in space. Now creating full on humanoid mobile suites? I'm not sure. Possibly 10 foot space exo suites, but not 50 foot mobile suites, because there would be no reason to stick with the humanoid shape at that size. Especially in space. But anyway even in the shows, mobile suites were relatively slow on the earths surface. It wouldn't make sense strategically...

It had to be hard to make an argument against them, and any arguments against them didn't matter because they were made and they now dominate. Tanks on the other hand did get made and had their era of dominance but now they are being popped by two man soldier crews with shoulder mounted missiles. If there was a material that would stop a mobile suit from being destroyed just as easily, it would just be easier to put it on tanks... Again as cool as I think MECHS are, we won't be seeing mobile suites, armored cores, or mech warrior MECHS because they give no strategic advantage... We are moving into the era of drones and ai. Lol it seems terminator is the fiction series that had it right all along lol.
