It’s so rare! Have you found the @ToddsTapes channel yet? He documented the local SF music scene circa 1995-1999 and has posted full live BJM shows from this era, but my greatest joy has been discovering all the other obscure bands that he filmed. Discovering the treasure trove of musical history on his channel has been one of my greatest joys!
I think it´s coz Anton never really wanted to be that famous. He just wants (and wanted) to write and play a lot of awesome fuckin songs it seems. And the music is mirroring that. In a way, they are not underrated are all, the fanbase of theirs is loving the shit out of it. They are just not that famous, which might seem weird given how fucking bloody good they are. But it´s quality over quantity baby.
