If you come across this post, maximum love to you, you're obviously a big BJM fan as you're interested in how other people want to praise the gang. Amazing set. Best live performance I've watched

Saw them at First Avenue in Mpls. this last May. Hadn't been to that venue in years (getting old). Had been waiting to see them live since I first heard "When Jokers Attack" on an internet radio station in 2004. That's when I got bit, and bit hard. Greatest band in the world of course. This was the first chance I had to see them live. Of course wasn't going to miss it. Three hours of utter bliss. I laughed, roared, cried and haven't had such an experience since, since... not since ANYTHING. No band, at any stage in my life has ever inspired me, blasted me to the core or had the power to shift my heart and perspective on my own life as this band has, whether on disc, vinyl or digital and almost beyond comprehension, live. They TRANSCEND, in the purest form. That Anton, and the band, only get better is an enigma to the degree that all one can do is sit back and thank Anton, and whatever deity you believe in, that this is a part of our lives.

Even the lightshow was great taking the show from daylight through dusk, twilight, sunset to black of night... I hope those white strobe-type things didn't instigate any epileptic attacks

It's no secret that any band is only as good as their drummer, but Dan Allaire has been Anton's secret weapon for many years, and he deserves so much more credit and recognition for it.
