The engine now sports 315 HP and 385 FPT. The original block is still in use in the car, complete numbers matching car and it still has not hit 100K original miles. The the auto trans has a wind up torque convertor, reprogrammed valve body and Kevlar bands.
i guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Blaze Timothy I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
To expand on the back seats, they are comfortable enough to fall asleep in on-track touring at Road America *IF* you're 6 years old, you've had a long day, and the exhaust is loud enough to put you in a trance.
I have a '66 with he same paint scheme. Your right. It is beautiful! I do very well at all the local carshows. I built a 347 for it as well as the 9in rear end.
Autos are great for cruising but I’ve noticed that with these old cars, the old engine is fine, but they become a completely different car with a modern 5 speed or better yet, 6 speed. It’s not just about the extra control, but low highway rpm is nice and the extra mpg is great too. Huge difference.
This trans was re-geared for the horsepower and it thumps when it upshifts, reminding you of its torque. Truth is though, when it comes to classics, you get what you can find. Fastbacks are cooler, manuals are cooler, but they cost a lot more because of it.
@@brentnagy5229 oh yeah for sure. It’s just fun to come up with ideas for improvements. I’m doing a 454 into a c10 hopefully and while I’d prefer a manual, I have a th400 so I’m going with that for now.
Nice video, well done. That car is indeed absolutely beautiful. I've known Jim for many years. In fact, so long that I've ridden in his first 1966 that was wrecked. So neat to see his new one, while remembering his old one :-)
Once again another great video that you have made!! Though I would prefer a 3 or 4 speed manual with the 289 V8!! My mom and dad had a 65 Mustang with a 4 on the floor!! I also see that Ford has outlasted a number of car manufacturers both domestic and foreign and four of the last ten of my cars have been Ford products!! Keep up the great work!!
There's only one kind of car that will make a red-blood American out of any young man, and that car is a Mustang. (But let's be honest: a 3-speed transmission? Ford just can't help it sometimes I guess.)

What size tires and wheels are you using? They look perfect, currently looking to upgrade my 66.
What mazda paint code did you use? Did you paint the white stripe or is it vinyl?

One of the best reviews you have made! Love the Mustang.

The airplane seatbelt bit was cool btw. Never heard of that before.

Notification squad!
A modern 4 cylinder Toyota Camry would smoke this thing but that is a much cooler car that will get you laid
Very biased
