i have try draw curve in Adobe Illustrator/Export .DXF and Import to Rhino but have problem with nurbs of Rhino and Spot of Illustrator not same, PJ CHEN ?
Hi Chen! Thank you very much for the video. Do you think this can work with fingerprints? I have a fingerprint that I have scanned and created a vector out of. What do you say?
nice tips. when working with vectors over rendered images, selecting "viewport rectangle" when making 2D and then rendering the same viewport will guarantee alignment when compositing a presentation in Illustrator. in some cases, exporting to .dxf (not .ai) and then importing to illustrator, is a good workflow with many conversion exporting options.
Really nice tips thank very much! I use to work with a Laser cuter so just worked with 2D (illustrator and Corel draw) but now I am working with 3D as well and I want to use some of my 2D Designs and this is exactly what I needed :D
Awesome video PJ. I saw your website too, it has some amazing designs. I loved the way you made those watches. Do you use rhino to model watches or something else?
@@PJChenJewelryDesign Wow. I hope there is tutorial on watches coming soon. Do you have patreon ? I would like to give back something to you for the amazing things i learn through your channel. thanks

Hi .i want to open my all rhino 7 file on rhino 5...how it possible?
no. unless you open all of them in Rhino 7 and save as Rhino 5 first. You can only open older version files.
@@PJChenJewelryDesign thank you sir..i want to know any other software to open that rhino 7 file very easy..?
老師我想請問一下,我匯入AI的時候,會有些部分線條沒有匯入進去,是不是我哪邊做錯了?
Did you lock your object in AI?
@@PJChenJewelryDesign YES
Sir can we export rhino file in coral 16 ?
I do not see the option for coral. what is the file extention? or you can check if Coral take Adobe Illustrator.
when I try to import an AI file it tells me there are no objects that fit the AI standard file.
what version of Rhino you have?
@@PJChenJewelryDesign It is 3.0 sr5
@@ParanormalResponse Maybe because older version? I think I was using Rhino 6
how generate supports in rhino file for 3d printing
Rhino doesn't have it but there a several plug-ins you can find at Food4Rhino for the support.
I use B9 Creator, a free software, to do my support.
I also use b9 creator
But i want to use more advance software
Ty, nice tutorial
You're welcome!

It should work as long as you have clear vector.
