You need to tell people to wind the bobbin at at least half speed. They are telling folks the center of the bobbin can get tweeted, but you may not notice, and that can hurt the machine, so remind to NOT wind at full speed.
The bobbin winder should work as expected on domestic machines. If you are having issues, we are happy to look at it or we would recommend seeing your local dealer.
@@nebraskaquiltcompany I’m not having any issues, but heard this right from one of the ladies that demonstrated the Creative Icon and I’m sure this would go for the #2 also, wind bobbins at half speed because plastic bobbins can get tweaked at high speed and you may not realize it. I’m just passing on information that I saw. No need for repairs if a person just uses their head. Plastic objects need to be treated with a little care, different from metal, if they’re going to last.
@@florence775 As an authorized dealer of Pfaff products, the bobbin winders are set for the bobbins made by Pfaff. The speed is set according to factory specs and should work as is out of the box. If you are having a need to slow it down, do what works for you. On average, we not seeing any issues winding bobbins as designed.
The Pfaff Creative Icon is such a great machine!
We love it, too!
