The Liqui Moly Beta Factory Racing team is ready for their Supercross debut this weekend at the 2024 Anaheim 1 Supercross with Benny Bloss on the number 67 Beta 450RX and John Short on the number 199 Beta 450RX. Unfortunately, the team's star rider, Colt Nichols, is unable to make the debut due to a recent shoulder injury. MXA's Josh Mosiman caught up with his longtime friend, Carlen Gardner, to learn about the new team heading into A1.

This Beta is a beautiful bike! It’s refreshing to see a new bike without a green M on the shrouds.

Love the looks of the bike. Nothing against their 2 riders but I do think they should have looked at Masterpool. But for some reason not one factory team will touch him. I sure would like to know. I've heard it's his parents are the problem. I wish Beta luck.

Fiji water or Beta? I don't know anything about Fiji Water but Beta is a family owned business. It's not publicly traded. No parent company. The great grandson of the man that started the business 119 years ago is the CEO today. No other Motorcycle Brand has their heritage. They do things very different than the Mass produced brands. I'm excited to see them pursue this segment of the industry. @@Tormentality

There going to struggle making main events this year. Going to be a lot of LCQ’s unfortunately, tough year to make your debut but best of luck. Very nice to see another brand enter mx/sx in the states 👍🇺🇸 it’s more factory help for the riders and better for the sport to continue growing. Hats off to Beta 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 🤘

The bikes look sick! And with the US development, they are only going to get better! Cool to see all the new manufacturers coming into the sport. Great for everyone, more factory rides for the riders, more competition for the other manufacturers to step their game up, more money for the greater dirk bike community through sales! Good for the sport.

I can't believe how Loki beta really is I've been wanting to buy one for some time now cuz they offer so many dual sports that are street legal are all but street legal you can even get the two strokes set up for oil injected and fuel injected 2strokes and they have been making 2 strokes for quite some time now. I think one of the most overlooked aspects is that the bikes come pretty tricked put from the door and they even offer basically the full fledged competitive versions that are completely tricked out for the most part. Then you can get an electric start 2 or 4 stroke withkick start as well. They offer quite a variety of engine options configuration setups and bike layout concepts. I have wanithe 3002 stroke or i believe 500 something 4stroke street legal setup

I wish them well and hope they are able to attract enough sponsors and top riders in the future to justify the investment. People forget KTM was kind of a joke for many years, an oddball Euro bike usually near the back. They seem to have overcame their humble beginnings though.
Beta reminds me more of when Husaberg and ATK raced outdoors. Interesting but more of a curiosity than contender.

I have so many questions... who is the parent company? what caused them to get involved in factory racing? are they making money? why isn't the industry celebrating a new factory team? What's the politics behind this brand? Why doesn't the series promote the new team like they do other teams?

I always thought of making the cockpit one continuous pommel horse. Maybe it's been tried. Maybe it looks stupid, so they won't do it.

Not liquid moly. It's not difficult. If we want these sponsorts to stick around, the least we can do is pronounce them correctly.
They are not really factory they are barely getting help from the factory it’s all based on the importer.

They have their own unique race color to differentiate from the usual red/blue color to really standout from the crowd; maybe tan/khaki color would be a nice try hehehehe
