My favorite DJ Hero mix from either game. It's great to see this in HD. How many times have you FC'd this? You did it once before, another time in the Ibiza FC, and now again. Really great to see this. Holy crap you didn't even use Euphoria.
Yeah I've done this a few times now, haha. I don't find it that difficult personally - there are only a few sections that really give me trouble. Using Euphoria for this would have made it too easy!!

They only have one mix in DJ Hero 2 and since it's more club-based it would feel kind of weird to have them in it I think, plus they were pretty big in DJ Hero 1 and had a lot of mixes in that

Since I have nowhere left to turn for this, I ask a master for his opinion.
I'm trying to 5 star Galvanize on Expert together with a friend on the same controller, he's on crossfade/effects dial/euphoria duty and I'm on turntable duty. Considering we couldn't hold a multiplier for long enough if our lives depended on it, what special deck would you recommend to make this easier on us?
It's sort of one of the few last mixes left to platinum the game, so I'm really trying everything here. We reach 3 stars on a good day, usually.
Hmm, that's a tough one! I'd probably say either Euphoria or Rewind. Euphoria would give you more points for a longer time (assuming you can hit the Euphoria sections), but the Rewind deck is completely busted if you're able to hold combo.
Based on what you've described I'd probably pick the Euphoria deck and practice those sections so you can increase your score :)
@@IKARUS-RG Alright then, I'll see if the Euphoria deck makes things better. We got most mixes in one or two tries, so I guess practicing will get us where we need to be.

Just bought this game off of craigslist and it's really cool! Though scratching seems kinda iffy to me I wonder if I'm just terrible or if the set is defective.
Recently picked up a copy of this game with a controller, I have even more respect now that I've actually played it, this looks genuinely impossible

Yeah I sold that one a long time ago. It definitely got me most of my FCs including Groundhog though

I think it depends, yeah. I render some of my easier FCs in 720p30 just because it takes a lot less time which is why the quality varies

I'd definitely go straight back to it! I think the era of these games has passed now unfortunately but I still love revisiting them occasionally

You gotta start the spikes like...a split second earlier than they appear. Watch the fader at that bit, you'll notice I start a bit early

I can one-hand them but using two is just so much more reliable for me, I hit them 9 times out of 10 with two (unless the turntable stuffs up on me and overtaps)

Oh yeah, it definitely is. It depends on the song really. Some take one run, others take hours
The real challenge of this song is trying to figure out why they said "fuck it" from 2:35 - 3:35 and put one of the best sounding scratches in all of DJ Hero at 3:39.
