McVay will be a beast in the booth after he’s done coaching.
Haven't finished this episode yet, but he's been pretty straight forward about his stepping away from the team to do that. He said that he was considering it a couple years ago but now he's talking like he can't believe he almost did it. Sounds like hes re energized about coaching thank goodness. 🙏 edit: ok glad he talked about it again. definitely sounds like he won't be in the booth for a long time
Sean McVay is a game changer in the league . The NFL needs for coaches with that kind of energy.
The NFL has taken notice. McVay's coaching staff gets gutted every year because other teams hire them to HC positions.
The Rams struck jackpot hiring McVay. The way he changed the culture and made the Rams relevant in NFL is nothing short of impressive.
This has to be the most fun RAW version of McVay we have 3ver seen. Awesome.

I really loved Vermeil and I thought the Rams would never have one of his caliber again. Thank GOD I was wrong. It's been great watching Sean grow as a person and a coach, he's established a culture in LA that will yield many titles by the time it's all over.

I truly admire Coach McVay. He is not too proud to acknowledge his weaknesses and to work on them which carries over to the team level. The Rams are SO GOOD at adapting to make themselves better, which is a testament to McVay and his leadership.

He is the reason the lions are a threat with all those high draft picks for Stafford and then giving them an awesome QB. That was so unselfish of McVay as he could of had a dynasty with Goff and having those high draft picks

From the rams front office, he was a scout for the rams from 2003-2012 then he became a director of college scouting from 2013 -2020 for the rams. Meaning he was groomed under Les Snead until he became the lions gm. The rams traded for stafford and gave up multiple picks in the process. Those picks rebuilt the lions roster. So like I said there is nothing but truth in this statement
