Excellent video Mike, nice work with the cameras, the machine, and the drone. Kudos for the boating segment with Captain Kleeman too. Priceless! Work safe, stay warm, have a great Thanksgiving with the family. Doug@ the "ranch"
Nothing like custom tools. Works perfect for the job. I really like how you switched through all the camera angles. Drone footage is always fun too. Man I’d love to give that mud mountain at a rip or two with my mud truck. Good times
In the river north of Ardmore Oklahoma there are old car bodies in the river for the catfish to den up in. People dive down, reach into the cars and pull large catfish out. A good place to have a nice lunch come up. They also cut cedar trees and put them into the river and lakes for the fish to live in then fish in the area. Works well.
Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing the video. I really love it. That is going to be some really lush ground next year when it is dry and spread around! I love the extension as well. I remember when you built it. That was a great video too. Thanks again.
Letsdig18 has figured out how to almost walk on water but he has more than 1 big excavator . But you went with the Fred Sanford option and southern Indiana engineered your super stick being the great recycler and budget minded business person you are . Great Family Channel Y’all .
dang Mr Perfect nobody goes to the lits to give content that you do I really think there should be a RUclips award that you can win and I don't understand why you ain't over a billion subscribers dam good video thank Happy Thanksgiving
That is best mud we can find. Very rich and productive. Such a shame you could not take it, use it or sell it. I would take it on my land all day long until no room left on land. Just take a pot of that mud and pot of top soil and put in same amount of tomatoes seeds and see the difference.))) Thank you for video.
Unlucky you Owner knows what kind of gold you were digging out)))) BTW that mud even if dried out it is still very rich. Look around for public land contracts as dredging public ponds or lakes. Of cause if you have such things around. Wish you all the best from all my heart)))
Cool idea, works good by the looks of it. Changes the dynamics of machine some I would think. Was this prior to line boring? Seems like wear factor would increase.
I have started using a trash pump and a fire hose end to clean the machines. Using the pond water , the mess is left on site. My wife appreciates having a clean driveway!!!
I would really like to see that spread out pond goop in the future. We deepened a pond on my father in laws place long ago, and we spread out a lot of the stuff on my land as well as some of our neighbors land. We live in a sandy area, so we thought it would help the soil. However, that stuff hardened like concrete, and very little grows on it without a huge amount of watering. I don't know if it was just our particular pond, or if all pond bottom goop is bad stuff. It would be interesting to see how that does.
Hmm!! Looks great !! But does that put the Locking lug on the Q Hitch under immense pressure as when the extension is not on the ground - its hanging off the locking lug
@@DirtPerfect Yeah, you were right unless you get stupid with the machine it does just fine. Even dedicated long reach machines are a little tippy, you just have to be careful.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Stetson Izaiah Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@@DirtPerfect no problem enjoyed it. I like the way you do things. Everything isn't brand new and showie. You look like a honest hard worker like myself trying to get by. Enjoyed the video!
If it wasn't so much work to do a telescoping counter weight that would work on hydraulics would be nice to keep it versatile, but that is another whole can of worms.
The Economy is so good we’ve got to get out here a drill a hole or two in some water mains tomorrow. Captain Clean is doing right fair job operating the super stick too . Hope y’all have enjoyed Thanksgiving 2019 .
@@DirtPerfect I would think getting some of the water out of your way would give you better visibility to the high and low spots. I do not know how the water comes in or goes out, so I do not know if it is possiable or not. Anyways it is my random thought for the day.
No frank you can get a good feel for it when digging and it does no have to be perfect would take at least three days to drain this and at lest 1k plus we did this in 5 hrs hope that helps explain a little better thanks for watching and the comments
Thank you for sharing... Did you charge an hourly rate for each individual machine? If so, would it be too much to ask for ball park hr rates for your pieces of equipment? Or would you be interested in selling an estimating/pricing tutorial? I currently have four similar machines you have... and wanted to give myself a reality check on my pricing methods.
Some rotting barley straw bales in the water would help kill the algae in the water , improve water quality for fish . Open bales , put it in Christmas tree socks and anchor in mid steam and wind blows water in and true it . Works great in Irish lakes .
This video is sponsored by Dirt Perfect Cruise Lines, featuring Captain Kleeman at the helm. Lol. I'd bet that pond goop stunk. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a blessed and safe weekend. Take care.
Thank you and have a good week.
Cool! With Micheal’s Southern Indiana Engineered Super Stick . Good Show Indeed . Happy Thanksgiving to All .

It’s about dern time you posted this video lol. Still think this is one of your top videos so far
Lol thanks buddy you where the first view 😁
I know if it makes Dollars it makes sense! 2 of your best shows were the dredging in the river laying block and making more real estate .
Great video you should have gotten the captain wet. Happy Thanksgiving thanks for sharing
Thanks and thought about it 😆
"OH Jesus Christ" is exactly what I was thinking Mike! That bucket looks small from the cab but it's frighteningly big when it's that up close!!
You weren't offended by the use of Jesus Christ as an expletive ?
@@ELS1SON no problem, I'm a nonbeliever :)

An extra benefit of Swiss cheese holes in bucket....water sprays out when scooping stuff out of a pond! Neat!

Not really

But it does
Ok
Mike for more temporary counter weight. You could make a bracket that holds two 55 gallon drums. Then fill them with water on site. God bless
Or concrete.

Very innovative great use of what would have been scrap metal. Keeps your machine versatile, you don't need long reach for the occasional use
If it wasn't so much work to do a telescoping counter weight that would work on hydraulics would be nice to keep it versatile, but that is another whole can of worms.

Deeper water means bigger fish!! Happy Thanksgiving!
😁 and thanks same to you guys
After a couple of those scoops came up with cable hanging out of the bucket, I was wondering Derby was about to have all of its lights go out.
Lol no stuff left from the old quarry
The good captain has a lot of guts letting you get that close the boat with the big stick.
lol yes he does 😁
Let's dig 18 could use this with as many ponds as he does
Yup it is handy when you need it
How did you talk Captain Clean into getting in that lake in the USS Simon ? Anything for a good RUclips Show on The Family Channel !
Lol still not for sure 😆
I am afraid I would have dumped a bucket full in that boat. Just to get Kleenman's reaction. And to see if he can swim. Lol God bless
😁
Send that down go western Kentucky, I found a beaver dam I can't reach!!
👍😁
I am confused why you did not drop the level of the water a few feet.
Why would not matter lot more work for noting gained

Great solution! But How would go about pricing this specific project?
By the hr most of the time
Thank you for sharing...
What state and city are you guys in
Also when did captain Klee man get that boat and where
Southern Indiana and found it on the bank 😁
Groetjes uit Holland 👋🏼
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Did you know you have a 3 inch long crack in the left side hook up plate? Its right between the two hooks where the pins go.
Nope just a scratch trust me
Looks like money to me. Happy Thanksgiving Mike and kleeman. Mike are we to start referring to you as first mate or master baiter?
Thanks Andy and same to you guys and that’s a good ? 😆
I just watched the video of this being made last week. haha nice

Man, that is some Gorpy~Schlorp there!
Yes it was
I have to wonder if fish will live in that water. Is that muck cement residue?
No just sediment lots of fish in there
Bob Smith fish there often, not a bad population!
Happy Thanksgiving guys! That thing is cool I dodnt know they made them like that!
He made it. There's a video a couple years back iirc.
Shop built excavator extension!! ruclips.net/video/o4Y7PrLvT5s/видео.html
What did they mine there? Do u know
Rock
I can just see it in a future construction equipment summer Olympics.
Slingin' Trackho mud and water....
For the Gold.
America's DP of team RipRap.
You know they actually make a tool for that , works really good
Yup and so does the one I have and it cost me 500 bucks to build
omg capt alive lol .... @dirtperfect what number clone is this one ??

What unexpected items have you pulled out of ponds with that thing?
Not many actually

My brain ticking over. The man behind the scenes designs and builds an auger based dredge for use on farm dams and ponds. Think about it.
👍
you could have gave captain kleamen some nice wave action with that thing
Lol thought about it

You’ve got a Shrinker bucket on it now the bucket shrinks the further away it is from the cab
Lol true 😁
Is this what they'd call floppy bucket inception?
letsdig18 needs one of those rigs for all his dredging jobs.
Lol it does come in handy
Loved the video. BUT did captain have to utter "Jesus Christ" at 13:13 when his boat was bumped by the bucket ! DP you could have edited that out.
Take that up with him not me don’t matter what I do someone is mad sorry
I have been to two got ropings three dog and pony shows and ante never seen anything like that before.
😂😂
Does this quarry have fish in it ? Looks good tho :)
Yes
The skipper and gilligan
😁
That extinction is neat
With the extension, that make's her "Super Floppy" and on this job "Super Sloppy"!! Happy Thanksgiving!!
lol thanks for watching
Definitely need an offroad dump truck for these type jobs. Take that muck to other side of property an dump in a holler.
That’s where the land Owner wanted it
👍 Goop!
dang that thing got some reach - didn't realize till i saw it from above. them dredgings look like a giant cow with the scours stopped by
That was Dirt...err...I mean...Mud Perfect!
