There is so much to do and see here in San Cristobal de Las Casas, especially if you’re looking for “real” Mexico. Chiapas has the highest % of Indigenous in Mexico so it’s a true authentic experience being in San Cristobal de Las Casas. We also happened to be there during Dia de la Virgen de Guadalupe so we go to be apart of this beautiful tradition as well.

WOW! Absolutely spectacular. Really enjoyed the contrast of Chiapas to the other states you have been. You can see a lot more tradition here. The textiles and clothing was so beautiful and all hand made. Those drinks at the end looked unreal! Thanks for bringing us along. I loved it.
Yes that was something we really loved too. Getting to learn about the different indigenous groups. It is such a special city!
Quite an atmosphere there! I enjoyed watching the excitement of the festivity going on.
It was really special! We didn’t sleep through the night for 10 days because of the fireworks 💥 haha but it was great!!

When I see and hear your genuine happy laughs, that's when I know that Mexico is magic. It is a country full of traditions and culture. Also when I see the incredible bees participating in the candy feast without being disturbed. It's like from another world. everything is peace and happiness

Those kids .. wow that was an eye opener .thank you for bringing to awareness that kids have to help their families and not attend school
It really was very eye opening. We feel like So much of what we have at home gets taken for granted. Here this way of life is very real and the only way that some families can survive. There are some great organizations that are trying to make a difference but it’s a long way off. Education is very important but survival has to come first. It’s something that most people have never even thought about. It touched us deep down.
San Cristóbal de Las Casas has many things to offer. The ambience of Cafe Jardine is great. The food looks good. Thanks for the wonderful tour.

Thanks for sharing the reality of those children. It is hard to see but I know it is something that is just a fact of life in so many places. We really need to be so grateful for our opportunities, and lend a helping hand whenever we can.
Yes, it is hard to see. We wish everyone had the opportunity to education. But right now that just isn’t possible for so many kids. And it’s not just education in the tradition sense it’s sex-Ed as well. Children who have to drop out of school are more likely to become young parents continuing the cycle of poverty. But yes it’s important to not judge and put ourselves in their shoes.

I'm from Chiapas, México, specifically from Tuxtla, and actually I loved your video talking about one of the best cities in my country: San Cristobal de las Casas. I'm loved your sense of humor and I'll be waiting for your return, you need to go to "Cascadas de Agua Azul (Waterfalls)", "El Chiflón", "Comitán de Domínguez", National Park Montebello and the capital Tuxtla Gutiérrez to know the Zoo (only has animals from the region like Jaguars or tucanes), Marimbas Park (parque de la marimba), restaurante tradicional las pichanchas, and San Cristobal again but in día de muertos (2, 3 of November).

@@TheCountryCollectors I'm not sure. It would have to be in a US time zone +/- an hour or so. I don't know if a tourist visa would allow remote work. If not, then which places have reasonable visa fees for a month's stay.
