Here is how to install a catch can on a Nissan 300zx with a VG30 engine and delete the PCV valves.
This video is a quick explanation on how I did it. It's a fairly straight forward process, which involves blocking off a few ports on the intake manifold and intake pipes, and running the hoses for the catch can. The hardest part is finding room for the catch can in this engine bay.
Quick list of things you will need:
    - Catch can with fittings etc (You can buy a good one here, just pick out the one that suits your installation: nefariousracing.com/catchcans)
    - 2x 15mm hose joiners
    - Some 15mm ID hose (3 meters should be plenty)
    - 4x 15mm ID block off caps (or hose with a bolt stuck in the end of it) for the valve cover ports and PCV valves.
    - 2x 12mm ID block off caps for the intake ports
    - Hose clamps

Basically, you will need to block off two ports on the rear of the left valve cover, block off the PCV valves and block off the two ports on the intake pipes.
Then you'll need to connect the two ports at the front of either side valve cover to the hoses going to your catch can.
Place the catch can somewhere secure, and you're done.

It worked perfectly fine a year later and solved the PCV smoking issue.
