    How good is the new Metabo SSW 18 LTX 1750 BL? Can it beat a DeWALT DCF961 with an anvil swapped to 3/4" to match the upcoming DCF964? We find out today by buying it as well as two no name hopefuls from Temu and Amazon to see what the 3/4" scene looks like these days.

    The Harbor Freight Hercules 3/4" looks to have come out around a day ago. Our store doesn't have one yet, but we'll have to pick one up to compare! In general these episodes usually take around 2 weeks or more to make - so anything that comes out a couple days before will have a hard time making the cut. Suggest others to compare!

      It would be cool to see how the Ingersoll Rand W7172-K22 $427.99 tool only, snap-on CT9100DB 627.95 tool only
      But something i think it would be interesting to see what the $80 home depot XtremepowerUS Model#: 18855-H1 could actually do! Claiming Output torque: 5800 NM and Approx. 4275 ft./lbs.
      I think i know the answer to this but, Is there any way this could be connected to an impact?

    A carbide insert in a boring bar could make short work of it and for most who don't have a home machine shop a visit to your local shop (on a Friday and offer to bring frostly libation) might get the bushing mod done cheap, quick and accurately. Bring anvil and housing so they can mic the anvil shaft. BTW for large batteries to ship freely in Europe one option for manufacturers (and creative hobbyists with 3D printers) could be to make one style of battery with a duplicate battery well in the bottom so as to stack batteries. How insane one chose to be with stacked parallel batteries is up to the user. Another could be a dual battery adapter mounting them side by side vertically. Awkward but for some jobs it could avoid mechanic suffering.

    I think you should try a FLEX 24V on that dcf961 and supercharge that beast, see what it can do!😂 And heck, why not try the "Top Fuel Nitrometh" treatment on a Hercules Ultra Torque or other impact, using a 60V, 80V, etc battery! It shouldn't last a long time, but it will be a good show!😂

      @@benperkins2929 No. Check out the TTC Battery adaptors video. He tried using Flex 24v batteries on a milwaukee impact and got 20% more torque if i recall right. So doing it on dcf961 would just be stupid powerful

      Unless you already have Makita batteries, you'd be better off just buying a kit for a big brand since the batteries alone make it too expensive.

    The DCF897 has a different width on the anvil lugs (dawgs as you call them). That will result in strange wear/low life on that anvil.

      Idk, The $200 AliExpress Onevan 3100nm has more torque than the Milwaukee 2864-20. The Forge battery is pretty impressive but I don’t see it making that much difference.

    I hope more brands notice how good it is to make a good quality tool. Seesii probably saw a significant increase in sales after the ttc video and it was solely based on the performance of the tool. The 3/4 wasn’t as impressive, though.

      The dcf961 on 24v would be a monster

      e5216 I have since removed serval big truck lugs now the dcf961 at work couldn't move and tightened a pinion crush sleeve the 961 couldn't so I already know it out performs the dewalt on 24v . It will be interesting to put numbers to it though.

      Did you watch the test of the test of the 2767 going from 800 to 970 on the flex? That is 20+% gain. On the 2967 that would yield 1100 which seems about right based on my experiences with the 961 as a comparison. The whole vtec thing is really annoying when you need the extra power, sitting there letting it hammer for 3 seconds before anything happens, especially when you have to do it over and over on a set of lug nuts. I can have an entire wheel off with the 2967 before the 961 has 2 nuts loose. I like the 961 I just wish you could deactivate the low power ramp up mode on the highest setting.

    • @dewaltmate5216
      @dewaltmate5216 Месяц назад

      @timiacobucci I have both the milwaukee and dewalt I use the milwaukee more because it lighter with plenty of power but on very stuck bolts I have to bring out the 961 much more powerful with there original batterys
      Might get the 24v battery and adapters to test it out I know what your saying the vtec is bit annoying would of been better full power out the gate
