Thanks, I have a whole street routine with a haunted matchbox that opens itself and vinishes the entire box of matches. Its a cute little surprise for when someone asks you for a light. If I buy the product and find out the secret will I be able to reproduce the it over and over with standard Redhead brand matches, given that I have glue, fishing wire, safety pins, double sided tape and all the standard magicians stationary tools?
Thanks David for the review. I have this trick. One piece of advise I would give is...keep it in a hard case when it's in your pocked, especially a jeans pocket. If you squish this thing (like you would a matchbox) you're done...unless you can fix it. :P
Just have to ask the big question. Why a matchbox. A lot of younger people don’t even know what they are, plus what is the reason to bring out a box of matches? Why not make a gimmick like that using a card box?
I reckon someone that can ‘craft’ words the way you do might find this useful…you definitely have the potential to light up someone’s world for a magical and unforgettable moment. lol..!😇
This is a very old gimmick. I can’t believe nobody knows about it?!? I have it in one of my books about matchbox and matchstick magic. It’s also very easily build yourself.
When I started performing magic in the 1960s, a matchbox was a more familiar sight! Thanks for the review. Always fun to watch.
Thanks for watching!
G'day mate. Thanks for another honest review. They really help us see what you get and what to expect.
Cheers David

Ot's made of cardboard, right? How long will it last? How's it compare to the Mint Box?
It'll be fine if you take care of it, don't sit on it
Hi David. Great utility prop. Thank you for this excellent review! Your friend, David

Fancy change box … not sure why they didn’t make it with the strike-plate 🤷♂️

for the sleight involved, it helps to have a smaller box
Doesnt match my requirements so I'm striking it off the list ...
🤣
