    Salaam and Thank you Sheikh!
    Your exposition is beautifully clear, concise and well delivered.
    It is obvious that MashaAllah, you are a good teacher. Take it from one what has been a teacher for 57 years, Alhamdulillah.
    Each time I listen to one of your lectures, I learn. Please note, I’m 77 years old and I’m still learning, Alhamdulillah.

      Allah know this best about what you said but As Dr Yasir Qadhi said generally speaking we can do acts of worship as a gratitude to Allah but wouldn't Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon), the best of mankind who taught/showed us best ways to worship Allah Azzawajal showed us or told us about Shukrana Namaaz as it's an act of worship ?

    Dr Yasir has finally arrived to the Jama'a of our scholarship. After much research, it becomes evident that the position of of the Jama'a and the four schools is very strong. Alhamdulillah the Sheikh has now clearly left the school boy methodology of the Salafiyyah and joined the jama'a. Masha Allah!

      Salafi means who follow shaba, tabeen, taba taneen and whomever follow these 3 generations footsteps until judgement day.

    • @2murie
      @2murie 2 года назад

      @@KnowledgeandSolution1Thats what the Salafis believe and is indoctrinated. It's very good in theory. The best way is the way of the Salaf. I was a Salafi before so I know ; But that is not the case. The reality is that Salafis are 9% of Muslims (a minority) that follow the methodology of Takfiri Ibn Abdul Wahhab who is neither a Mujaddid nor a scholar. The true followers of the Salaf are the Mujtahid imams of the four madhab. Salafi is a pseudo-scholarship, they have no scholars nor scholarship. Salafis deceive people by the very marketable slogans that are so deceptive they will catch the laymen easily. They are "Salaf al-Salih" and "Quran and SUnnah". All madhabs follow those two as well and are better than them because they were close to them. Go learn Islam from a proper alim or a Mufti for few years and you will realise Salafiyyah has no scholarship, it is a distortion of Islam.

    It is always best & safer to follow the perfect example *authentically* attributed to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم)..
    لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا
    {Indeed in the Messenger of Allāh (Muhammad ﷺ) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allāh and the Last Day and remembers Allāh much.}
    (Sūrah al-Ahzāb; 33.21)

    The problem is , when people pray 2 rakaha lots of them think its a sunnah more of a something that profet(sm) did.
    So we should know the differences.

  • @samia7842
    @samia7842 4 года назад +4

    It is sunnah to do sajda e shukr and it is not bidah to do salat ul shukr. So it is better to do sajda and not make it a habit to do salat ul shukr.

    @Yasir Qadhi. There is a prayer in Sri Lanka named as salat at tawbah which they pray during the 27th night of Ramadhan (though not specific to that day only) which contains 4 rakats of salat, where you should say the 3rd kalima to a sum of 300. The kalimah is said along with the usual dhikrs at different praying positions for a specific number of times. This prayer is followed in many masjids across Sri Lanka and maybe in some parts of the world. Is this kind of prayer acceptable as salat at tawbah?

      Thats called salatut tasbih... Authentically narrated. A sunnah indeed. There are sahih hadith and weak hadith hence an established prayer widely performed in all communities

    Assalamoalaikumwareha
    Proof of bidah is hadees text wherein prophet salahoalaihiwalam said in our deen anything new is bidah.
    This is enough we have to produce proof for worship and not for every bidah.
    For proof muhadseen spent their lives in authentication of ahdees and it is not new shaba even also were inquring about proof.

      @SMAB because you are using Allahs name on human, and think he can save you. So basically worship prophet muhammad too which is shirk
