- Our N scale VIA F40PH-2Ds are finally coming! And of course we're showing them off on Emmerson Case's phenomenal layout. We've torture tested the revamped production samples and as you'll see, they're good to go!

What a layout! And the night mode was especially impressive given that all the lighting was reflected off Jeremy's skull. Remarkable.

Kudos to you guys for actualling designing a brand new Hifi V5 sound file for those F40s, I was a bit let down by the stock sounds on the Later Phase F40s which seems to be the older V4.0 project used circa 2015; ESU has come such a long way since then. Happy F40 Friday!

@@rapidotrains with many road numbers and the three paint schemes. 1980's and 1990's era , Canada lettering era and Renaissance era. Preferably the 80's and 90's era with fully assembled ready to run models , sound/DCC and functional ditch lights with all the Budd and LRC cars.

Might I ask, when was F40ph-2d announced for N scale?
Late in 2019. It's been a journey!
I pre ordered mine about 2 years ago with Otter Valley. I know they came in a few months ago, but like they said in the video, there was a problem with the drive mechanism, so they went back for correcting. I am anxious for my re build. I will finally have something to pull my LRC's!
Hopefully the mechanism is simplified compared to the FP9 units.
We've redesigned the mechanism on the F40 as we weren't satisfied with the earlier design.

Does the emergency light work on the rebuilds? If so, how do you turn it on
I think you would need to turn on the xenon via DCC
@@trevorderper5050 the Instructions were apparently mixed up. The original Instructions are with the rebuild models. And the rebuild Instructions are with the originals
When will the lrc cars in n scale come back in stock and I can’t seem to find the lrc cars on your website
A new release isn’t planned at this time. It’s possible we will announce more in the next few years however.
