Deebo and CMC are insane together. The best part is seeing how hard they block for each other. I'm not a 9ers fan but it's hard not to root for this team.
Purdy didn't go to Deebo much in the 1st Half. He needs to realize that Deebo is going to make things happened every time he touches the ball EVEN in short throws. I guess he was used to Aiyuk since Deebo were injured before.
They are indeed incredible,
however as an Eagles fan, they’ll scare the ever loving hell out of me me, if we make it to the NFCCG.

Deebo is a machine. He catches like a WR, runs like a power RB and plays physical like a TE.
I’ll take a high tier RB or WR over him at their position, BUT the thing is, he can do both. Really great to have in the lineup.
Your call about TE’s is a bit far, if he and Kelce/Andrews ran straight at each other, Debo is going to the hospital.

The most impressive play I saw was that near touchdown to Ayuik. Absolutely insane awareness, throw and mobility by Purdy. Mahomes-like.
That was an insane play by purdy, too bad aiyuk didn't catch it.

@@r0cketm4n34 I disagree. Kyler and Lamar are considered mobile QBs (or a RB if you're one of those guys) and I've yet to see that level of play from them. Running from one side of the field and throwing a freaking laser beam to the corner. We've seen Mahomes do it, and now Purdy has the ability.

If Lance and Jimmy G wouldn’t have got injured we would have never seen Purdy. His talent might have been well know to his coaches and team mates but Purdy is a total surprise to 49er fans. If you thought at the beginning of the year that the 49ers would go into the playoffs led by their third string quarterback and are not “surprised” at all by the results then I tip my hat to you for knowing everything.

@@gordontaylor2815 I heard that Tom Brady resented the 49ers for skipping him 6 times in the draft, because he's local and had been hoping to be drafted by the 49ers. And of course in retrospect we wish we had, but drafts in football and basketball are so unpredictable.
I said before the game that the only chance the Seahawks had was if Purdy got the jitters. All power to him for overcoming them and breaking records galore.
I noticed the jitters as well. He picked himself up and played amazing. Sign of a great person

It would've been incredibly impressive but idk about "historic". Historic plays tend to impact the game (The Catch won us that play off game) whereas we were already blowing them out.

Deebo and CMC together… crazy. Both dudes can effectively play RB and WR and lemme say trading for CMC must’ve made Deebo so happy cause Deebo being a natural receiver and CMC being a natural runner but both interchangeable… sheesh, unstoppable. CMC is what we needed to make Deebo happy. CMC is what we needed for this team to elevate.
That fumble was the difference maker. Felt like Seattle was gonna go punch for punch with them until that play.
Turned off the TV when that happened. I knew what would follow.

That fumble was part of it but think about the 2 bad calls on the refs that held seattle back, and then dk would've made that play but niner defender was holding no call. The refs sure made the niners proud by helping a lot in the 4th quarter.
I was sad when the Panthers traded CMC but I’m happy to see he has a very strong chance to get a ring he deserves. I hope it happens.
As a panthers fan, we were never gonna win with him, and he deserved to go somewhere where he had a chance. If our rebuild is successful and panthers actually become contenders again, by that time cmc would’ve been like 30 at least, would’ve been too old to help us. Our backups are younger and are proving that they are the real deal, especially foreman, and this way panthers fans can feel like theyre contributing to a super bowl contender again 😂

CMC may not get many touchdowns but he does a hell of a lot for this team. Making big plays, first downs, getting the clock running, recovering that onside, great to see him winning hope the niners get to the SB

He scores almost always. He’s a beast. Robbed a pro bowl spot
He’s a monster. He was getting extra yards just running through tackles. That creates a huge advantage in the running game.
I think he probably scores more consistently than any other player on the niners this season

I find it wild that a kid picked last in the draft getting thrown in with only practicing with the scout team all year. Yet has put up 35+ points in almost every game he's started is still being doubted by people. They say he's on a stacked team, yet passed for 300+ yards and had four total TDs while extending plays. Trey or Jimmy couldn't do that with the same talent. People say it's all the CMC effect yet I don't see CMC throwing all these TD passes. Give this kid credit, he's elevated this already stacked team and made them the real SB team we were all hoping for. Tired of people shitting on this kid. We were not scoring 35+ ppg with Jimmy or Trey, no matter who was on the team. Jimmy had CMC during the Chiefs game and still choked in the redzone that cost us that game.
It's more future opposing team fans who don't want to recognize him. Probably because they dont want to believe that their team can be beaten by a rookie Mr Irrelevant. Purdy will eventually change their minds though.

As a Cowboys fan. Purdy's career, is going how Tony Romo wishes his career went. I'm not kidding when I say this. Purdy reminds me of Romo in the pocket, extending plays and making a throw down field. Minus the untimely interceptions. This guy excites me to watch, and I love a good story.
As a 9ers fan, he reminds me of Romo too. Circling out of the pocket and the quick release.
49ers fan all my life, but grew up in Texas (blame Jerry Rice) as a result I see a lot of cowboys games. Purdy reminds me of Romo so much, it is pretty crazy.

Many great plays, but one of my favorites is the long scramble by Purdy in the 4th quarter that he caps with a dart to the corner. I'm not sure if the defender got a finger on it, but Purdy couldn't have located it any better. He had the poise, too, of ducking a tackler at the last second before setting up to throw, all that after running back across the field.

I watched that 74 yard TD. He did a fake cut to the middle and froze the D just long enough to get by them. It’s the little things you don’t always notice that make great players.
As a Giants fan (if we beat Minn) the thought of playing the 49ers next round is scary. Deebo, CMC, and Kittles is crazy. Add in their top Defense and it’s a long day. A SB might come down to Purdy’s decision making and overall play.

This was my first NFL game that I’ve gone too in general and I sat first row. Crazy feeling watching Mitchell and Kittle score right in front of my after watching them for so many years on tv. Nothing beats the ambiance, I’d advise anyone reading this to go to a game if you never have, it’ll be worth it. Go Niners!
I've only been able to go to 1 Niner game in my life, not living close makes it harder, but I was there in the farewell season at Candlestick Park and it was incredible. I can only imagine how great your experience was at a playoff game at Levi's but damn, good for you. I bet it was a blast.

My husband and I took our two sons to our first game when we shut out the Saints back in November. We sat in the 2nd row north side behind the goal post and we had an amazing time!The stadium energy throughout the whole game is unreal and we enjoyed every minute of the experience ❤💛

I remember watching this game. At half time I really though the Seahawks could win it. The second half was definitely a reality check.

Very happy for the kid. He has already made himself many tens of millions of dollars. There have been QBs who made millions and got signed to big contracts for doing far less, in fewer games. This kid has not only killed it, but done it now in the playoffs. Very impressive.

This team is just different. Rookie QB who’s on fire, a superstar running back, a great wr core, a top 3 tight end, and the best defense in the league. This team definitely deserves to win the Super Bowl.

Not a fan of either team, but man this 49ers team really has the potential to do something special. Every unit has performed so well. Purdy is absolutely phenomenal for a rookie. I thought he’d get worse as more film came out in him, but he’s gotten better. If they continue this play I don’t think anyone in the NFC can matchup except for maybe the Eagles if they’re not banged up
if we continue to play like we did in the 2nd half I think we can go far. But that first half performance won't cut it against a better team

Fun to watch, I've been a Niner fan since the mid 1950's listened to them in the car on a Sunday after noon, or in my room. Back when a High School team stood a chance of winning in Kezar Stadium. Let's hope they keep up the magic.
I'm 57, and remember lots of those kinds of games.

@@mik3y02009 There were some lean years, before the Super Bowl years, I barely understood football back then. Kezar Stadium is still in Golden Gate Park, they play high school football there now. The stadium was barely bigger than a college stadium. The Giants moved to San Francisco in 1962, and they shared it from there on, as they could get more people in. I did get to see a Raider game in Candlestick Park. Their first year. They had all the cameras set up, delayed the game, not enough fans, so they moved everyone to one side, put the cameras on the other, made it look like a full crowd. Then the good years, Montana and Rice, Steve Young. Hopefully we'll see more playoff games with Purdy at the helm, he can only get better with each playoff game and each year he plays.

I've really appreciated all the love from panthers fans since we got CMC. He's a hell of player and person and I've always been a fan of his. I knew he'd be good in this offense but even I've been surprised by just how perfectly he fits in it and how quickly he was able to significantly contribute. Its unfortunate he wasn't able to do more with the Panthers but he's spoken in interviews about how much he liked his teammates and the community/fanbase in Charlotte so I'm not surprised you guys are being so gracious about his departure.

I must admit, I was a little worried in the first half. After half time the niners defence dominated. How good is this kid Purdy? Taken at 262 in the draft. Can you believe that? Whoever recruited him is a genius. Deebo was magnificent. Shout out to Robbie Gould. As someone foreign to the game, his accuracy always amazes me.
Yeah we got lucky with Purdy. Gould is one of the best kickers ever.

The 49ers have been amazing at making adjustments at halftime this year, so even though I was nervous in the first half I had faith they would sort it out. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and clean it up this week. Defense needs to tighten up to the standard we know they're capable of. Cant have ANY costly penalties like the one Ward had before the half.
As a Seahawks fan, I can say that it was a good run, and I'm actually quite proud we made it this far. GG 49ers, and good luck in the future :)

What a second half. That play by Purdy that Aiyuk dropped might be the best I've seen. It would be high on the Rodgers highlight reel.

He was the last pick in the draft labeled as “Mr. Irrelevant.” Jimmy had the same offensive weapons while under Shanahan’s system and still didn’t average over 30ppg this season. Purdy, McCaffrey, and Debo are absolute BEASTS and the Niners look like a LEGIT SB contender for sure! Purdy's greatest play was actually the one that didn't happen (his last pass attempt): after Purdy expertly eludes tacklers and runs forward and to his right, he has the awareness to see a defender that could've blocked his pass so he does a quick pump-fake to get him out of the way and then launches a perfect pass (while still running!) to the back corner of the end zone only for the reciever to DROP IT😱 - which would've been Brock's FOURTH passing TD of the game! Hell of a game by the rookie and I truly believe he won't be another "flash-in-the-pan" type player and has a very bright future ahead of him - weather he makes it to this year's SB or not!
CMC is just amazing. Security blanket for Purdy - or any Niners QB - and he can take any small play and turn it into a huuuuge play. I was excited when we traded for him, but I had no idea he would be this good. Exceeding all expectations.

I was worried about Dk Metcalf the whole time. He was on fire tonight. Our defense couldn’t stop them in the first half, but in the second half everything went normal and our defense stopped them. That fumble was the most important play of the game.
and to think that a seahawks player was right next to the fumble, but he didnt realize. I think he could have covered the ball if he realized it was a fumble. Nonetheless, great play by niners!
When that happened Seahawks didnt have a chance. That was the boost defense needed.

Purdy never ceases to amaze me week after week. In this game, he managed to find open guys even when he was flushed out of the pocket and running for his life in the open field.
That got me to thinking. How are these guys so wide open? I know the play was broken, but some of those guys weren’t even covered! Maybe they didn’t think he could scramble?

Purdy makes plays that Jimmy G couldn't, he scrambles, escapes pressure, dosen't panic under pressure either...what a blessing. The last pick in the draft...he's playing with house money at this point.
Yeah but I still like Jimmy "Ws" Garroppolo. He's a real solid QB who had a ring taken from him mostly because of the idiot refs. It's all good though, Chiefs were humbled by the Buccaneers and Tom Brady just in time to derail the dynasty.

SF gets the win and sweep the season series 3-0 against their bitter rivals. Purdy was solid in his first playoff game and Deebo snatched his first chain of 2023 and it came off of a Seahawk lol . As for SEA, very impressive season overall and Geno was definitely a huge surprise. Work the defense in the off-season and this team will be back in the playoffs next season. Jennings is so clutch for this team. Go back and watch the highlights for each game. He always makes plays during the most crucial moments. Every time I read a article, hear a podcast or tv analysis they rarely mention Jennings.
