Trevor Lawrence is a great example of the saying, "It's not about how you start, but how you finish.” To throw 4 touchdowns after throwing 4 picks while leading your team to a 27-point comeback is a great testament to how resilient he is.
Facts the mental toughness and confidence it takes 💯 to not lose poise or to quit he truely is build different
Another thing is the coach not giving up on him and going to the backup
You stole that from Kobe
That's literally never happened before
it was actually 31 points

My beloved Jaguars, from worst in the league , a true laughingstock to this. We started 3-7 and finished 9-8 and won our division. This game showed both halves of our season. SHOUTOUT TO DOUGIE P for Instilling the heart of champions into our guys

Damn. Lawrence leading the Jags to a late playoff spot and managing a 27-0 comeback in his first ever playoff game is some legendary stuff. The Jags got a good core going forward.
He still threw 4 picks. Not gonna comeback every game lol

Was that REALLY the Jags and Lawrence or was that the pathetic Chargers handing them a win? Dude threw 4 picks.
You gotta admit, this was the funniest game of the year. Every Jags TD, I laughed my ass off. We already knew what would happen. 😂
Drove 400 miles to attend this game. Sect 215 Row BB seat 15. Biggest playoff win in franchise history. 5 turnovers and down 27-0...to win. Dougie P was a play calling genius, T-Law shook the first half like it was nothing, D. So proud of my hometown team. Lifetime memory.

This is the best "want to win" moment of the year. The Jags wouldn't give up even 27 down. This is a testament to their coaching staff. Well played game all around.

The Vikings-Colts comeback was more points, but this being such a crucial game, so much pressure, and with the ability of such a young QB in Lawrence, it’s arguably more impressive. Insane game
It's a shame that the Vikings lost in the Wildcard after. Like to have the season they had and then lose that fast
@@grimtea1715 you could make that argument, but they weren't as good as their record might indicate. Lots of one-score wins. JJ's a stud but he's all they've got at that level.

@@austinlittke5580 i agree but Im 24 and this is the third time the jags have been in the playoffs since Ive been alive. Ive seen worse and this franchise has put its fans through hell and back. Its remarkable. Trevor Lawrence never lost until he got to the NFL. He was generationally good in high school and his team went undefeated his last 3 years. He never lost in the regular season in college, winning a national title and making the playoffs all 3 times. Only in the NFL in his rookie season has his team failed to win. Now this year, the Jags have found form and are considered a resilient bunch. He hasnt seen as much adversity on the field as most others yet he responded to it brilliantly so far.

Extremely rare to turn the ball over that many times and still win. Truly, I'm 55 yo and cannot remember a time when a team did that. Hats off to the Jags for a hard fought comeback win.
Patriots versus the Falcons look at that game with Tom Brady his name it was the Super Bowl

@@NewbPhil no1 left lol people just grabbed popcorn for the comeback. was packed out til the end, hold that L - it was always the jags
@@beastish79 100% there was at least 1 idot who left all mad at half to beat the traffic and missed his favorite team make an incredible comeback in the playoffs.
The script will never let spanos be happy though
That’s wild bro 😂😂😂
I'm so happy for my man Dougy P. He helped my Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl, and I will always root for him.
Same here GO BIRDS!!
Your? Do you play for the eagles? Nope. Its not your team.

Wow! That was one of the greatest comebacks I’ve seen! Defence really played their part as well in making stops! I’m glad I watched this such a great game.
Honestly watching this 7 months later as a packers fan, respect to the jaguars fanbase, down 24-0 getting squashed in the first half and just giving another turnover, and still making noise for their team. It’s truly special that they didn’t know what would happen 30 minutes of game time later. Respect💯
Pederson is a super bowl winning coach.. say what you will about the guy but that level of experience is gonna help you more than anything in the playoffs. The resilience of this team is absolutely insane, they’re gonna be tough to take down
Now he has to go face his mentor
Yep, they weren't getting to this point with with Ole Urban. 😆
Ahhhh to actually think the nfl is real
Yes, GREAT COACH considering the change in that team. To think the Chargers could have picked him up and guarantee they would be a Super Bowl favorite this year if they had instead of being out
@@mossbergshockwave623 found the chargers fan
This is more proof that NFL players cannot get rattled by bad plays, interceptions, or misses. They MUST be ready for the next series. I love this sport!
Do you love the National fixed league?
It’s so hard watching the first half of this video even though you still know the outcome
I still do not believe I watched this happen.
I have seen some amazing comebacks in my years of watching Football. Just a few off the top of my head, The Buffalo vs Houston Playoff game.
In College, the unbelievable Maryland comeback against the Miami Hurricanes.
But this was a but different.
I still believe the best comeback ever is the Bills vs Houston game, but this game was ALL CHARGERS, in ALL PHASES of the game.
I mean, the Jaguars were DONE. FINISHED. OVER.
They could do nothing right...
Until they did.
And then, it was one of the most amazing games I have had the privilege to watch!!
Triple back set. Transported back to the 70s with that one. Going for 2 being down by 4. Pederson is a wild man.
I agree 💯 on that play call. Dougie P is no slouch. They man has a Super Bowl ring for a reason
Why play for the tie? Let your nuts hang and play for the win
@@MarloSoBalJr Dougie P gets results at least. Staley makes you think he's a defensive genius then he proceeds to hand the game to you in the 2nd half even if you don't want it.
@@frankystrings 100% agree. I loved it. Analytics dudes would say go for the XP.
As a Raiders fan, I almost feel bad for the bolts, they had the game in the bag but took their foot off the gas when they needed it most. Good game jags!
Correction the chargers never had the game in the bag they only had the game for 2 quarters. Football is a game of 4 quarters and good coaching.
Chargers lost once they were up 27. I could tell because I knew the raiders lost to the cardinals once they were up 20-0
@@benjaminhorsley9923 *As a Raiders Fan, WE WOULD KNOW.*
ALMOST
F that. As a Raiders fan: LOL! Herbie still wishing for a tie so bad!
hopefully doug starts calling plays again
Rewatching this after Staley got fired
Impressive mental fortitude for the entire team and Lawrence after so many picks to still not give up
Im more impressed how the chargers flubbed that one, that takes true skill.
As a jags fan Doug P and Tlaw really changed the team forever glad to see how far this team came❤️‼️
Doug Pederson > belichick
Doug Pederson vs his mentor next weekend will be fun
dang. 3 INt in the first quarter is crazy. congrats to the jags tho, saw it on aq livestream.
I know Dougie was the perfect choice for this team , he is a master coaching quarterbacks as long as their name isn't Carson Wentz
@@chriszasada9756 no one can win with wentz he gets every coach fired
I am a Jags fan that booked a trip to Cappadocia Turkey during our 5 game losing streak in October and I had to watch this game from my Cave hotel with 4 mb speed internet on my phone at 4 AM and it was worth it. I watched all of it
Went to bed at 27-0 woke up to 30-31 lol what an amazing comeback
Dewey Defeats Truman!
I did the same thing.
Same haha
Haha same
Brooooo same
I still love watching this. It was the jags season in a nutshell. Start was very rough and they never let it get them down and continued to fight. Looking forward to seeing my jags continue to improve.
What a game Trevor Lawrence is incredible for throwing 4 picks in the first half and still being able to keep his head up and win an incredible comeback great game and can’t wait to see the Jags in the divisional round
Thank you CHOKERS
Nobody is "incredible" for throwing four picks. Thankful for them they were playing the San Diego um I mean LA Chokers who are always 1 and done in the playoffs.
@@cali2468 4 tds, 2 point conversion and a 75 yard game winning field goal drive in the 2nd half of the game is nothing short of INCREDIBLE.
@@cali2468 2 of those 4 picks was not his fault, the first one was batted at the line of scrimmage TWICE, and the 2nd one was defensive pass interference all day, should have been a 1st down Jaguars. So really he had 4 TDs to 2 Ints, game winning drive, incredible turn around and comeback. Trevor is clutch, he's done this multiple time this season.
Heck yeah it was a great game, he sure did hang in there. I cared less who won, but games like that you become a fan. And a W is a W in the playoffs, you get that you're good in my book. He's def their guy and good for Jacksonville
Having a game like this early in his career is dangerous for everyone else. To know what you can come back from is just a game changer for your mentality going forward.
A dude with that talent AND an "I will figure it out" mentality can be lethal.
Trevor still sh#$ the bed the first half throwing 4 picks in his home stadium which is inexcusable and should never happen. He cleaned it up second half and DP made some nice adjustments but hopefully knows his comeback is extremely rare and not likely to happen again.
@@Sabrason Brady has thrown 4 picks in a game, 6 times. Only difference is, Brady didn’t win any of those games
@@Sabrason Do you want a side of salt, with your salt? 😆😎👍
It sure can. Hell, look what it did for Mahomes and Burrow and Allen. You can’t always win, but Lawrence knowing he and the team are NEVER out is going to make him/them potentially very dangerous moving forward. And I’m not even a Jags fan.🙂
