Its remarkable. Trevor Lawrence never lost until he got to the NFL. He was generationally good in high school and his team went undefeated his last 3 years. He never lost in the regular season in college, winning a national title and making the playoffs all 3 times. Only in the NFL in his rookie season has his team failed to win. That 4th & 1 was sensational. What a play call by Superbowl Winning HC Doug Pederson. Jags had the best comeback of the year, Happy for Duval County! - Eagles Fan.
Bro Doug made a bad play call. First he threw it on third down when all they needed was a foot which caused this fourth down and then he burned a timeout. Why not just run the ball 3rd down. Not good play calling.
Going for two in such a situation is extra good, because if it doesn't work you can still go for a touchdown instead of a field goal on the next drive.
@@redreoicy6698Fair enough but it's more complicated than that. Staying down 4 then running out of clock would've violated the Landry Principle aka Easiest Way To Lose.
3 picks and 17 points off those in the first quarter is nuts. Then to comeback and win in spite of that is legendary. What a team effort. Seeing Etienne and Lawrence continue to play together after college on the same team is wild too.

A comeback for the ages ! Amazing to come back from those interceptions. The defence kept the Jags in the match while the offense finally got their rhythm. Important TD at the end of the second quarter.
Doug Peterson is one of the most underrated and under-appreciated coaches in the whole league. This game epitomizes the remarkable coaching job he's done this season.
Extremely rare to turn the ball over that many times and still win. Truly, I'm 55 yo and cannot remember a time when a team did that. Hats off to the Jags for a hard fought comeback win.
Cowboys vs Bills awhile ago when Romo threw 5 picks and won. Idk if the margin was -5 though Cowboys might have got a takeaway or 2 of their own in that game. Its not the number of turnovers but the differential which is crazy
The Jags couldn’t have hired a better person than Doug Pederson to salvage the mess that Urban Meyer left. This season is one of the most impressive turnarounds I can remember

I flew from San Diego to cheer on my Jags in person, felt like a fool at halftime but didn’t lost hope. Trevor played inspired lights out football in second half and his receivers/defense really stepped it up. Beautiful team win. Chargers fan next to me went from running his mouth to storming out in tears. It was a sight I’ll never forget, after so many disappointing years of being a jags fan. They’re finally putting some respect on their name. All hail Coach P and this team.
As a long long time Jaguars fan I’ve rode with this team for all the highs and the lows I had 0 expectations for this season aside from just get attest 4 wins and not be the 1st pick for a 3rd year in a row. We pulled together a wining season and one hell of a comeback here Lawrence showed why he’s a generation talent not many guys can play as awful as he did in the first half and keep a cool head and come back with a outstanding 2nd half to lead the comeback win. I’m so happy right now
As good as Lawrence was at the end of the first half and then unbelievable in the second half, the story of the game is the Jags defense. They could have given up but they pulled themselves up and got after it which allowed Lawrence to work his magic. Kudos to Pederson for keeping hope alive in the locker room at halftime. I mean, really, who wins a game with 5 T/O's in a game. Awesome game. Too bad Dungy and Michaels missed it.

I had other things to do after it was 27-0. Jaguars didn’t look like they stood a chance. I’m amazed how open a lot of the looks they got to get back in it. Expected a 28-3 grind to get back in it.
The Vikings-Colts comeback was more points, but this being such a crucial game, so much pressure, and with the ability of such a young QB in Lawrence, it’s arguably more impressive. Insane game
I agree - I’m a vacuum I’d definitely go with the Vikings game by far but given this was a playoff edge goes to Jags. Vikings had four 1st half turnovers (one a pick six) along with a blocked punt touchdown - also had two defensive TDs incorrectly called back. They were down 33 midway through the 3rd. Jags were down 20 at half and had some momentum going their way into the half. Colts had an over 96% win probability from the 2nd Q all the way til the two minute warning in the 4th.
As an Atlantian, been there...felt that. Legend has it that when you put a jacksonville seashell up to your ear, you can still hear the faint dying heartbeat of the charger fans

After throwing 4 first half interceptions, T Law brought this team back 4 SCORES!!!, The resilience my jags showed last night is something we’ve been missing since 2018, plus T Law has solidified himself among the young QBs

Same ole Chargers I really thought it would have been different with Philip Rivers gone the most overrated QB ever. The head coach should be fired immediately.
Coming from an Eagles fan, what a game… so happy for Jags fans because they deserve it. I’m so happy to see Doug Pederson coaching again, in the playoffs no less. It‘s great to see his style of football back in the league-going for 2, going for it on 4th, and overcoming a 27 point deficit. Doug P is a fantastic coach, the Jags got the right guy. Hell of a win Jaguars!!
Yuuup. Pederson crafting those crucial extra points during games where he knows they'll be needed in barnburners are what our eagles won that title!!! Without the extra plays vs teams like the falcons, vikings, etc that season keep the wins alive. Let alone the cutthroat pressure he put the Patriots at the end of the first half as the leading eagles were starting to see the Patriots build steam, pederson knew crafty calls were the way. Hence the TE to QB Foles pass to end halves etc etc etc. Now he has a team that can get into trackmeets with a young QB that thrived in the college football setting of putting up points, s rambling the extra couple calls to make the difference on major stages. People are still slamming Trevor Lawrence for his miscues but the kid is going large for big comebacks and scrapping during close games. His 4 ints, yet scrambling to extend plays, bouncing back in wars where big plays are needed sound familiar to the early years of freaking Carson Wentz of all players lol. Sucks that pederson got pushed outta Philly by saying his crafty style only worked for a short spell (a title spell!!!), But was deemed to be too risky vs effective once Carson couldn't come up bigger when needed with that roster as it started accumulating so many injuries and worn down players.... Yet here we are seeing it again
Eagle & DP fan here also. Lawrence got the perfect Head Coach. former QB with BALLS. he'll now develop into what he should be. if they kept Urban, or brought in a defensive Head Coach, he may have been a bust.
Not for a young player, but for a veteran player for sure. What I mean is that when it’s playoff time. Your the leader of a dormant team that mad the playoffs and you damn near give the opponent the game like somebody paying u off. But 👌

Too bad someone like Kevin Harlan didn't call this game, We're sitting here watching one of the most epic playoff comebacks in the history of the sport, with the energy of the announcers doing a pre-season game!
I was at the game, so fortunately I didn't have to listen to the commentary. I watched the highlights and heard the commentary. Time for a change in the booth.
I thought Al Michaels was fine, but Tony Dungy to me was pretty low energy. He can improve, but he's a pretty naturally calm guy so idk if its the right fit.
Harlan would've been super ideal. Al Michaels is pretty consistent with his delivery but he def needs a more livelier co-commentator to bring out the emotion.
As a Chargers fan, that was an embarrassingly brutal loss to witness. The first half had me thinking otherwise, but the Chargers clearly didn't have what it takes to compete in the playoffs this year. Congratulations Jaguars fans, your team hung in there and turned the momentum around, that was an epic comeback.
Give the chargers a break. This was coach Staley’s first ever playoff game. So he needs to learn how to close out a team that gives you all the turnovers u can handle 🤷♂️
Really?? I’m not sure what comebacks u could be talking about man, they were literally 1-117 coming into this season when trailing by 17+ points lol BUT they are now 3-2 in those situations in this season which means they have tripled the amount of 17+ point comebacks that they had amassed over a 25 year period in less than 4 months, gotta love the NFL man! So yea they have now had 3 great comebacks just this season but I think using the phrase “have had MANY comebacks that are going to be remembered” is frankly insane lol they actually might have the least amount of memorable comebacks in the league since they became a franchise in the mid 90’s but that’s not to take away from what they did last night because that was an all timer that will be remembered for sure…
I was at this game and boy let me tell you the rollercoaster of emotions I experienced... from seeing the stadium empty out by halftime to everyone getting amped up back into the game was unforgettable. Lawrence only has room to grow. With Pederson, I feel like hes going to really become a star that lasts decades. Or at least his echo will. Despite such a horrible rookie career almost ended abruptly from a horrible coach, hes really brought himself out from the dregs of hell, and is showing just how tough and talented he is.

Nobody is "incredible" for throwing four picks. Thankful for them they were playing the San Diego um I mean LA Chokers who are always 1 and done in the playoffs.
@@cali2468 2 of those 4 picks was not his fault, the first one was batted at the line of scrimmage TWICE, and the 2nd one was defensive pass interference all day, should have been a 1st down Jaguars. @greapfer It seems that the only glaring mistake that Pederson made was in the fourth qtr when the Jags had 3rd down and less that 1 yard, and he elects to pass. Luckily, on 4th and less than 1, Etiene ran to the right side when everyone thought there was going to be a QB sneak. That was the regular season, this is the playoffs plus the colts are garbage.
And they had 5 turnovers in 1st half
I agree - I’m a vacuum I’d definitely go with the Vikings game by far but given this was a playoff edge goes to Jags. Vikings had four 1st half turnovers (one a pick six) along with a blocked punt touchdown - also had two defensive TDs incorrectly called back. They were down 33 midway through the 3rd. Jags were down 20 at half and had some momentum going their way into the half. Colts had an over 96% win probability from the 2nd Q all the way til the two minute warning in the 4th.

Give credit to Doug. Even with the picks he never yell or panic. He was calm an cool. That’s a confident booster for the QB after throwing 4 picks.
Not for a young player, but for a veteran player for sure. What I mean is that when it’s playoff time. Your the leader of a dormant team that mad the playoffs and you damn near give the opponent the game like somebody paying u off. But 👌

Facts!! I get so confident when the eagles are up, but when we’re down I’m so disappointed. A game can definitely take a turn at any point. It was a really good game I have to say!
True..i liked ur comment, but u need to work on ur confidence lol jkjk
There was probably a bunch of people that turned this game off well into the 2nd quarter and had no idea what they were missing. This is why football is my favorite sport to watch you never know what will happen.
Me 😢

I left the bar at halftime & never tuned back in 🤦🏽♂️
You wrong cuh vegas control everything
As a buccaneers fan, I feel so proud for the Jags. I knew they will have their great moment 🎉
The Jaguars proved to me that they belong in the playoffs. I had given up on the game when they got down 27-0. I’m glad I kept some interest to see an incredible comeback. Wow.
god I left and ran some errands.no way I thought they would come back, boy was I wrong
I switched it off after their 3rd interception. I really thought the game was over. Decided to check what the score was hrs later. Wow!😂
You mean you turned it off and then later looked on Google to see how bad it had gotten, then realized it was a game and turned it back on 😂

@@scottwalker6897 Lol. I took a nap and missed like 2 quarters!
Both games today were a tale of 2 halves, unbelievable performances by Purdy and Lawrence in the 2nd half, kudos to them both for keeping their cool and head on straight and leading their team to victory. Go Niners and Jags. This was a hell of a game and comeback. Chargers have to be so disappointed for letting this one slip away after leading 27 to 0
Lawrence is a joke pederson bailed out this clown
@@Alex-sf9bo that may or may not be so, but still he sent the Chargers home with 4 TD passes in the 2nd half and is moving on to the next round while those he beat will be watching him play
What a comeback for the Jags!!! 🐆🏈
Don't let this ignore you from the fact the Trevor is still TRASH and isn't held to the same standards as black QBS!!!!

Having a game like this early in his career is dangerous for everyone else. To know what you can come back from is just a game changer for your mentality going forward.
A dude with that talent AND an "I will figure it out" mentality can be lethal.
Trevor still sh#$ the bed the first half throwing 4 picks in his home stadium which is inexcusable and should never happen. He cleaned it up second half and DP made some nice adjustments but hopefully knows his comeback is extremely rare and not likely to happen again.
@@Sabrason Brady has thrown 4 picks in a game, 6 times. Only difference is, Brady didn’t win any of those games
@@Sabrason Do you want a side of salt, with your salt? 😆😎👍
It sure can. Hell, look what it did for Mahomes and Burrow and Allen. You can’t always win, but Lawrence knowing he and the team are NEVER out is going to make him/them potentially very dangerous moving forward. And I’m not even a Jags fan.🙂
Just the fact that this is #1 on trending shows how great this game was

As a Raiders fan, I almost feel bad for the bolts, they had the game in the bag but took their foot off the gas when they needed it most. Good game jags!
Correction the chargers never had the game in the bag they only had the game for 2 quarters. Football is a game of 4 quarters and good coaching.
Chargers lost once they were up 27. I could tell because I knew the raiders lost to the cardinals once they were up 20-0

F that. As a Raiders fan: LOL! Herbie still wishing for a tie so bad!
Everyone on the Jags team couldn’t even believe it themselves that they won. Wow what a freaking game I’m glad I got to watch this comeback win
Doug Pederson is such a great coach. He, Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the Jags team deserve all the credit they can get for this season.
Looks as though the defense did great also since LAC was held to a field goal in the second half. What a meltdown!
These were probably the most melancholy announcers for one of the most exciting games of football this year..
The announcers new it was fixed so they didn't get too excited. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The national media has never wanted to see Jacksonville succeed, all I got to say is Duuuuval!
They showed zero excitement. Brutally bad

@TimesUp777 ur so dumb lmao u really think games are scripted? These are professional athletes we're talking about. Have u ever came back in a video game, board game, or any type of game before?

That comeback was nothing short of amazing. That halftime pep talk worked wonders.
Yea it is but would’ve been more amazing if the commentator wasn’t dead
Wow, amazing! What a game. Chargers must be thinking "What just happened?" Congratulations Jaguars on an incredible comeback win.
What happened? What has happened to the Chargers FOR DECADES. It is a losing team. They just like to do it with style.
@@binder38us 😂😂😂😂😂
What happened was someone must have gotten the refs on the phone and told them to stop throwing flags every time a Jag moved and letting LA do whatever the hell they wanted. The first half was the most biased officiating I''ve ever seen
Reminds me of the comeback Andrew Luck led in his second season in the wild card round over the chiefs. Here's hoping Lawrence's career lasts a lot longer. Congrats Jags fans.

Unless you're a Chargers fan. But if you're a Chargers fan, you should also expect this. So...
I was kind of rooting for both sides. Until LA blatantly held the wide receiver on Lawrence’s second pick. As a Falcons fan I must say: Good job LA! Our choking brothers in the AFC! And congrats to Doug Peterson, Trevor Lawrence, and everyone else on that team. A great coach, a great qb, and a great team. You’ve earned this win. Fought back through the blood, sweat, and tears. This was a clear example of leadership at every level by the Jaguars. Lawrence never lost his composure after 4 interceptions, the rest of the team kept calm and coaches made adjustments that paid off.
Shoutout to all the Jaguars fans for not leaving early after the score was 27-0.
I left after the third interception in the first quarter.

I’ve been a Jags fan since November 30, 1993 (the day the team was awarded). Moments like these make all the crap and disrespect we Jaguars fans have had to endure over these years (especially during the DelRio head coaching years) We’ve FINALLY GOT OUR QUARTERBACK!!!
I’m a diehard chargers fan but for whatever reason the jags have always had a place in my heart as my second team. Happy for fans like you
Great come back 👏
Amen brother!@
Lol calm down the chargers ain’t on the level of the real teams
Jack Del Rio I remember him
I had never seen such a thing up until now. To throw four picks, and not get your confidence totally shot, but to come back and win it! Trevor Lawrence is something 💪
