  • LA Sparks guard and 2x NCAA Champion Kia Nurse joins Keyshawn on "All Facts No Brakes." To start the show, Kia talks about athleticism running deep in her family, including her brother Darnell playing for the Oilers in the Stanley Cup, and having Eagles legend Donovan McNabb as an uncle. She also talks about growing up in Canada without a WNBA team, and her excitement for the expansion team coming to Toronto in 2026. Kia also shares what it was like playing at UConn for Geno Auriemma, winning two NCAA championships, being drafted 10th overall by the New York Liberty, and what it's like to be a veteran on the LA Sparks playing alongside rookies Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson. Afterwards, she gives her take on the media's portrayal of the WNBA, gives advice to Caitlin Clark, and wraps things up talking about playing for Team Canada at the Olympics and signing with Jordan Brand.

Yesterday was the most watched game as well in over 20 years for the W. That's all-star and finals included. 2 teams with losing records eclipsing everything the W did in 20 years in a regular season game. It's so poetic 💯

    • @BlindedBySight

@mcanqb The sell-outs and viewership this season data and records show the Las Vegas Aces has a record 15 out of 20 sold-out games. Indiana has the highest "average" followed by the NY Liberty. The ONLY 3 teams to sell-out season tickets for 2024 are the Atlanta Dream, Las Vegas Aces and Dallas Wings, who also had a 220% ticket revenue increase and a 1,200% increase in single tickets sold and Clark had nothing to do with that. Some fans...or stans...need to pause on always yelling about crowds. You're making us NORMAL Caitlin Clark fans look as stupid as you "sound".

You know, as a Caitlin fan and "new" WNBA fan, after reading some of these unnecessary comments, I'm even getting sick and tired of all the hate and negativity from some of you so-called CC fans. Some of you are why people don't want to deal with Clark, and it's NOT her fault. Grow up. Keep your obvious undertones to your unathletic, unsuccessful selves. So what if you haven't heard of certain players or watched before. So fkn what, who cares...smdh. The league was already growing every year and Clark gave them a super booster shot and she can barely enjoy her impact without you guys insulting and offending everybody and anybody not name Caitlin Clark, including her own coach and teammates.

Never heard of most of the players and never watched before Clark. I’ve watched college basketball. Clark has moved the needle like no other. I knew of Parker, Moore, Leslie. But didn’t watch. Just take the blessing of your sport and thank Ckark . No disrespect to the women that started this.

Let's translate the word physical as pertains to the WNBA. Physical means what some have called prison yard basketball rules. It is bush league sloppy play that has no business being called basketball. The refs are horrible in enforcing the rules, and the players are horrible in following the rules.

The big is the commissioner and board have failed for 23 yrs, the next biggest question is when are the commissioner group going to actually grow, pay your players foolish management hurts local economy, and your sponsors are wasting their money, all the stubborn stupid decisions. When you make the right decision everyone makes everyone happy. I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK THAT YOUR ARE LEARNING FROM YOUR BAD DECISION.

  • @rometallud1161

Huh,? Ask about basketball? Have you heard of the Philippines, as soon as we get up, and you go out on the streets, basketball is being played everywhere. We grew up watching and playing basketball men or women. I don't see why as if you are telling us that WNBA is an organization higher than NBA, FIBA. 😂😂😂 I am watching US College basketball since Vanessa De Jesus joined Duke, and now with CC. It became exciting and the anticipation of every shot or pass for assist. There is no one in the WNBA got my attention until CC, i am also waiting for Paige next year.😊

I love how they keep saying they established the league. If something is established, shouldn't it make money. Because of Caitlin, it might actually start making money and stop living of the mens NBA.

😂😂😂 I get what she's saying. There would have not been no WNBA that Clark has wanted to be a part of since she was kid, if it wasn't for some of the earlier players and early years.

I somewhat understand why a lot of these players are salty. I don't think they wanted someone like CC to be their breakout super star. It's kind of like Tiger Woods with golf... except it didn't take professional golfers long to realize that Tiger Woods ultimately made more money for everyone in the sport.

Nobody in the WNBA or the league itself is qualified to give Caitlin Clark any advice. I feel like maybe none of you guys get the same stats and ratings that the public gets, if you did you would see Caitlin Clarks brand is bigger than the WNBA's brand. Caitlin isn't new to carrying a team, a league or a crowd, she has been doing it since high school. The sooner the WNBA realizes the "New Fans" aren't WNBA fans at all, the are viewers because Caitlin Clark plays here and they are her fans who aren't new at all. Trust me if she went too the big 3 her fans would follow.

What? Even the NBA realized that fans don't want to watch their favorite stars get beat up every game. Even the NFL is trying to cut back on unnecessary physicality. Why is the WNBA so special that fans must accept watching a product they don't like...and if the answer is to tell new fans to stop watching, what does that tell you?

Not only is not hard to understand, the league was straight garbage. Most of us are here for one player. Boston, Mitchell, Smith are the only ones other than that player that is gonna keep it going. Listen to their media. The Indiana Fever is where it starts and ends as of now. No one cares what it was, change has came and taking hold for the better. Jump on or take yer exit.
