Cry, try using bloom on all the people to get a cool surprise. ;) Even the merchant in Wepkeer. Also, make sure you keep at least 200,000 yen throughout this arc, cause there's a place you're going where there's a weapon and you only have one chance to buy it.
My favorite part in this whole series is when u bloom the Sacred Saplings and also the final boss fight. I cried so hard the first time I watched that part. I was waiting 2 clock in at work too

If you like snowy places, check out Colorado at some point in your life. It's freezing in the winter, but it's gorgeous with the sun shining on the snow. Nature's glitter, man.
Blockhead Grande literally took me 2 hours to do on PS2 before it just gave me a super easy one. Several times I hit all the weak points perfectly but nothing ever happened. Later I found out the order matters. You don;t6 just need top remember the location, but which order they appeared. I was so mad, it never tells you this.
I don't know which came first. Naruto or Okami. But whichever came second seems to be somewhat copying from the first. There's a lot of references to Naruto it seems.. Here's a list of things I've noticed so far. Orichi: the "dark Lord" in Okami. The name is very similar to Orichimaru, one of the main villains in the Naruto series. Konahana: The tree in kimiki village in Okami. Reminds me of Konaha. The leaf village in the Naruto series. Kamui: A place in Okami. But an attack of sharigan users in the Naruto series. Famously used by Kakashi. The 9 tailed fox: the boss fight in the second arc of Okami, the giant demon fox that tormented and attacked the leaf village, was sealed inside Naruto by his dad when he was born to save the village. I think that's all I have for now. But yeah....
Cry, there are a few more secret brush techniques in this Northern area. One is the third and final upgrade to Tachigami's power slash and another is the final upgrade to Bakugami's Cherrybomb. They are very well hidden, they should be in a frozen lake; guarded by the third hardest enemy in the game, another location could be behind the sacred tree, and possibly on some cliffs by the Volcano. You get to those when you arrive at the village; the volcano ones that is. The only one left should be at the Volcano.
Just a side note Cry- when blooming a clover wait till the little green circle around it to disappear. That's usually what stops you from trying to immediately bloom
Sweet, my favourite place in Okami, possibly solely because it is the home of my favourite character. I`m sure you can guess who by the fact that I drew him for my icon. XD
Cry, you should check out the caves where you fought the Bandit Spiders, there are new optional challenges there after you've cleared the arc related to the area they're in. You might want to wait until you've beaten this arc though, some of them get pretty difficult compared to the rest of the game and it might be for the best to save it until right before the finale, or maybe even bonus episodes.
i think i will laugh my ass off when he comes to find out that beating the grande blockhead only nets him one stray bead...its the most annoying bead in the game to collect next to the demon alter gauntlets

If you 'bloom' the characters in Kamui they turn into wolves by the way. And it's ADORABLE. Kamui is my one of my favorite places in the game gah.
I finished this on PS2 earlier. THE QUALITY DIFFERENCE IS SO AMAZING.
