    There is a small gap in the side of the half link. Look for that and then work in the floss so it is right around the springbar and pull it into the gap and it will release. This is the easy way to do this and anyone can do it. Thanks for posting the video!

    Thank you, I've been struggling with my Pagani GMT, it's a tad too lose, if I take one more of the jubilee links out it's a little too tight, I played with that micro-adjust pin for like 30 minutes last night and just thought "this is how I have to wear this watch I guess". this is genius and I never would have thought of it. Also, if anyone has issues with their floss not being strong enough, or something like that, I used one of the internal strands of a piece of 550 cord, worked like a charm

    I was frustrated before I watched this video. My pagani watch just wouldn’t sit on my wrist properly and it needed two micro adjustments that I couldn’t do using the spring bar. And then I watched this trick. Voila! I’m finally happy with the watch. The clasp has become a bit wobbly though but it hasn’t broken. I hope it stays intact and I’m able to finally wear my watch which was in the watch box since I ordered. Thank you very much.

      If you open the quick adjustment, which is found on part of the band opposite of the clasp, then you will see a slot where you can easily adjust the micro-adjust. To open the quick-adjust, you press the last link of the band from the outside and it will uncouple, giving about 1/2 a link extra length to the band. Mine was very stiff, so it took quite a bit of force to unclip and reclip.

    I watched your great video and imitated it and succeeded after two attempts (it was a strong pull and the floss was broken, but I was lucky to pull it slowly and gently). I'm sorry for the delicate finish of the Pagani design. Because people who love watches are usually ‘very’ delicate. This was a very annoying task because Pagani did not consider the user's convenience.

  • @erizzle67

    I was about to try a strong razor blade, but this is genius.
    Updating my comment the next day: I only had that wide floss. Thought about using strong thread but instead went for my razor blade idea. Looked carefully under a loupe and it worked in seconds.
    Annoyingly, looking at the similar mechanism on the hinge side of the clasp, I could see Pagani used a different pin. Not quite a standard pin with a collar that a tool could easily fit, but it had slight collar indentions. Out of curiosity I got a small pin tool and was able to disengage it fairly easily. I wonder why they didn’t use this same pin on the micro adjust side???

    • @Mobin92

      did you manage to undo the extended link?

    • @freddyt55555
      @freddyt55555 2 года назад

      I couldn't either, but I was able to get a screwdriver into the cut-out in the extender link that you can see at 0:33. When the extender link is locked, the cut-out isn't fully expose like that, so you'll need to wedge a small screwdriver between the underside of the clasp and the top surface of the bracelet.
      Once you get the spring bar out, you may need to fix the notch on the extender link. You can see this notch at 0:49. The notch on my extender link had "lips" on both sides which prevented the spring bar from being pulled out of the notch. It appears that Pagani assembled the extender link to the clasp in the locked position without ever checking if it could be unlocked. What I did to fix my extender link is to file down the clasp-side of the notch so that spring bar could actually be pushed down into the notch.

    It is quite a mystery to use floss;
    Depending on the individual differences, some of them can be made by removing the spring rod or using a flat-blade screwdriver.
    If there is only one side to remove it, is it originally made only to remove it, not to fine-tune it, and is it a remnant of the misappropriation of the previous work that has four holes?(Because it cannot be inserted from the outside)
    The Rolex GMT Master 2 doesn't have a hole on the outside, but does it slip the same way?Lol
    "I removed all frames in the initial state, and the frame that could be stored in the clasp was released, and it felt like it was hard to open and close, so I wanted to fine-tune it, so I finally made it with a floss, but the pin was broken.One flew away, and the spring flew away.I had a hard time finding it.
    "So I got annoyed, so I put it in the fourth innermost part, not just one."So, I increased the number of three frames, and just settled down in a clasp storage state, and relaxed by releasing them, is that correct?Lol
    It's dangerous if you mess with it badly. I don't want to mess with it anymore.
    The release state is to loosen, so regardless of the position of fine adjustment, it is more correct than loosening and closing in the first release state, right?
    Actually, I want to try it in all positions.

    Woe, OK, you got me. When I saw this video I thought GREAT so that how you do it. 2 hours and yards of floss later I resigned to the fact that it is not as easy as it looks, in fact I don't believe it works. The video does not show it working, it shows a video shot changing to the clasp pin dropping but not undoing. So in short, open and fold out the clasps mini extender to reveal pin and at one end a tiny gap to allow access to the pin end ... and then do what you've always done ... attack it with a mini pen knife tip end and it will release easily. Forget the floss !

    • @freddyt55555
      @freddyt55555 2 года назад

      I had the same issue. See that notch running down the half-link at 0:49? The spring bar is supposed to snap into that notch when the half link folds over on itself. See how the notch gently slopes down on one edge (clasp-side) while the other edge (bracelet-side) has more of a lip? That lip is supposed to lock the pin into the notch, but on mine, both sides of the notch had a lip which prevented the spring pin from being pulled out of the notch. IOW, the gap between the two edges of notch were narrower than the diameter of the pin. Whoever assembled the clasp did so by inserting the spring pin into the notch while the half-link was folded over, effectively locking the half-link that way permanently. Pagani apparently doesn't do any QC to ensure that the half-link can open up.
      I was able to remove the spring bar by pushing a small screwdriver into the cut-out on one side link that you can see at top end of the spring bar at 0:31. Obviously, that cut-out won't be exposed like this while the half link is folded over on itself, but there is just enough of a gap between the clasp and the bracelet links on the top side of the bracelet to get to this little cut-out.
      Once I got the spring bar off, I used a file to grind down the lip on the clasp-side of the notch. Now, I can shorten and lock the bracelet or unlock and extend the bracelet exactly as it was intended to work.
