I have to agree we need a new solution for side mirrors. That same curved 1x1 plate on a bracket is overused. With so many Speed Champions sets coming out it might be time for the company to invest in a custom part for this.

the original hood is horiffic, same with f40 headlights, they are doing some crazy stuff recently which are bizarre. both of your hood solutions look good, will be doing one of them.

I think you should have used the slopes for the end of the door with no hinge so it looks like the original set and to re align the side of the car
