the way i would have released all my stress if i had the opportunity to do that. don't be shy, give everything
Depends on your personality, but this isn’t so easy. This is intended for delegations, so you bear the responsibility of remembering what to do at each moment (so no improv). Also, there’s no crowd at all. You’re quite literally performing just to a foreign TV delegation and some dozen technician strangers. It’s also in a foreign language. I think the stand-in has done just fine.
@@UsernameUsername0000they didnt say that the stand in wasnt done well bro
@@odeutles Never said that myself. Was just aiming this at the “don’t be shy, give everything” part
@@UsernameUsername0000Well he didn't even perform most of the dance moves correctly soooo...
The rainbow lights at the show were a much needed addition to the stage
shame they didn't have many wide shots at the end. The arena went crazy
I'm glad they added the rainbow lights in the final staging it differentiates the first and second half of the song
I agree
But a bit sad they removed the pink when dancers came in
What I would give to be that guy is unimaginable... I'm so jealous
I wish we would see more 2022 stand ins, especially the countries that got screwed over the most because of the broken sun. Although I also really wanna see Loreen's stand in rehearsal. And San Marino's cause those guys seemed to just wing it with no plan and just fun lmao
LMFAOO no plan and all but at the end of the day no points either
@@bromxandi126 they seemed to have tons of fun, they got a lot of monthly listeners on Spotify, and are currently on tour with The Who, I think they are doing fine.
@@spalman100they're not on tour with The Who iirc, they just performed as their support at rock festival in Florence 😅 and more recently they performed as support for The Pretty Reckless at one of the stages of Summerfest in 🇺🇸Milwaukee, Wisconsin (they were at Summerfest already a year ago, there's a whole video from that concert on their YT channel)...
I also wanna see 🇸🇲 stand-in, this'd be pretty funny 🤣🤣🤣
Omg this looks so different than the actual performance (the staging)
Most of the stand-ins do, all of the stand-ins posted so far have had multiple changes to the staging that don't involve camera angles and things like that
I was like whoa, this guy pronounces Finnish so well... until I realised it was playback. 😅
This guy is so pretty and cute 😊
If Eurovision will be hosted in Łódź, Poland, I wanna make some stand in. What have I do to do that?
Rex orange country doing side jobs

I'm still mad he didn't win, reduce jury power!
IT'S JULY.
That's how injustice feels. It stings and it stays with you.
Not saying the result wasn't justified, I am only talking about how it feels to people. Feeling you lost fairly is easily brushed off, but the feel of unfairly losing hurts a long time.
It is what it is and I am not saying it should be otherwise, but what I am saying is that I understand why it still hurts for many people.
@@Sinivalkoseepra-yz1ke stop dramatizing. He was outperformed by Loreen in every aspect
@@Sinivalkoseepra-yz1ke how was that unfair? Eurovision has been jury+tele for decades. And Loreen got second in televote. We had much much bigger discrepancies in the past and no one complained that much. And in the end it's just a silly song contest, it's really not that serious
Apparently I still wasn't clear enough with my point. I said I am not complaining, that I am not saying it was unfair.
My point was that I understand why it still bothers people, and that is because it felt unfair to them. Which I also understand, why it would feel unfair. Although I also see the point, how it actually wasn't.
Understanding other peoples viewpoints cannot be a bad thing, for any of us.
Yaaaas girl, give us nothiiinnnggggg
I wish I could've done that
I need Instagram account of this guy
OMG better than the actual artist!!!
I was one of these dancers! This was the hardest routine to learn hahaha
How did you get to be a part of this?
@@user-ni9xb4hj3j So I train in dance at a performing arts university in Liverpool called lipa and the BBC came to lipa to audition us for the stand in jobs and I got picked.
@@user-ni9xb4hj3j bump. still wanna know this.
Why have all the stand-in rehearsals not used live vocals, as was done previously? Perhaps there would have been fewer of the rumoured sound issues during rehearsals.
It was all lipsync last year as well, and 2021 was some live and some lipsync
The technical rehearsals are for camera angles and staging only.
@jess6064 That's the main goal, yes, but in previous years the singers actually sang, even when the song wasn't in their native language. My favourite example is the Dutch singer who impressed enough during the stand-in rehearsal for Ukraine's 2021 song that she then got called (on her way to a shift at Taco Bell!) to sing during the rehearsals when Go_A's singer was ill. Here's a link to the stand-in rehearsal: ruclips.net/video/mEdWa1ye2yg/видео.html
@@andrewj8920 Maybe she was just very talented? It’s more important for the dancers to get the routine right for the cameras. At other music events dancers will rehearse to playback with one of them pretending to be the singer if the actual singer isn’t available for rehearsals.
they have the best job HAHHAHA
I agree 200% with you hahahaha. I want that job too!! Just one question: are they "normal" people (I mean, standard) or have they some special qualification/specialization? If not, how I have to apply for this joooob????🤩🤩❤🔥❤🔥
are we gonna get all of the stand-in rehearsals? would love to see spain
That aint Even kääijä
