A lot of people seem afraid of the plastic, because they must engage the bypass like a pro wrestlers finishing move :) In reality its the jacks and footswitch that will fail first. I had both but sold the 300 for a profit in the pandemic when supply was limited. The hm2 extra is what sold me on the HFZ, and why its a mainstay on my board!
exactly. on my hm300 the footswitch broke first... not the plastic, the actual electrical unit
After seeing someone try to destroy a behringer pedal by running it over with a car and having to do it twice because the plastic only had some hairline cracks on the first pass, I assume anyone who does break it must weigh more than a car.
Level control on the Behringer is redundant on boost mode. The gain controls the volume. Read the instructions... Lol.
Good vid. Loved the graphs. 👍
ha, the more you know 😅
They both sound great. I l I'll ke the options. It would depend on the price. I bought my SF300 for
I'm pretty sure all Super Fuzzes have the in between setting but how easy it is to access varies or it might just be technique. On mine, it's like trying to thread a needle. I have to get the switch stuck just right so that no vibrations will cause it to switch on it's own but I've seen videos where people seem to be able to switch it easily like it's meant to do that.
Guess I'm playing on hard mode then...
I bet it would not be terribly difficult to mod the Behringer to have a mode that combines the fuzzes.
probably not, but since the Humongous also has both a clean and chainsaw blend it's actually worth the upgrade 😉
I like my pedals like myself: cheap!
You've begun to address fuzzes way to often lately)
haha, guilty! But there will be other content soon enough ;)
Keep 'em comming! And stack and split/mix them with other pedals too!
Bass demos and different guitar tuning demos are welcome as well.
Thanks @DomeNightbearer
I love my Humongous Fuzz, even though it doesn't get as much play as it should. The Behringer sounds great for the money though. Eventually I want to re-house my 300 into a metal enclosure. I'm just being lazy. Also replacing the jacks and switches.
