Any mechanical problems flat towing the Subaru? I’m looking to buy a manual transmission outback and I’m getting mixed information regarding if it’s possible. My concern is the manual transmission not getting lubricated.
You will need to look up the owners manual for a specific vehicle. Look for this wording dinghy mode and see if it doesn't give you instructions. Some cars you can be flat towed but they have restrictions. Your owners manual is your best source.
Yay! I just bought a Forester and I randomly searched for what kind of an RV could tow it! Thanks for sharing!
Thx for remco tip!
Try Good Sam Annual Dinghy guide (insert year)
What year Subaru? Newer ones show no go for towing
Yeah you can't tow the subis with the CVT.

So no dolly your using a tow bar?
This was a long time ago but yes a tow bar.
Definitely no dolly. All 4 wheels must be turning on an AWD vehicle.
Subaru manufacturer says you are not able to flat tow it.
My local dealer advised that as long as it's a manual transmission you can tow.
Remco has discontinued its towing business!
Oh really. That’s a bummer.
Who buys a 2wd Jeep?!
😂
