My wife and I have been gearing up to "retire early". I still have reservations about quitting my job and trying to make "ends meet" while also trying to enjoy life as much as we can. We are both in our 50's and want to get some traveling done before its no longer an option. We have been slowly liquidating "stuff" that we no longer deem necessary...and boy is there a LOT of it. We've been considering the work camping thing to kind of help out along the way also, (her sister and brother in law do this) however with the times the way they are now with the co/19 it seems some of the criteria has changed to get some of these jobs. To jab or not to jab, that is the question. Anyway, I've said all that to say this. This has to be the MOST inspiring video I have ever watched on this subject, and boy have I watched a LOT of them. Mostly I see a "one size fits all" mentality towards mobile income, and sadly I've not found that size, whatever it is, to NOT be my size. I work as a site foreman for a concrete precast company, and I can't see that being a mobile income at any angle :) . But your video has cracked open the box that I've been trying to fit all this stuff in and gave me some food for thought. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this subject, I really truly found them refreshing. Our last step is to sell our house and pay off all of our debt, but we are waiting for my son to graduate college, which is a mere 7ish months away. We told him he had a place to stay for as long as he needed it while in school, that's the main reason we are holding off selling the house in this "sellers market" right now. Sorry for the long winded comment. I tend to ramble when I get excited...lol
You are correct it was so hard to let go of my memory stuff. All in all, when I miss my stuff, I visit my kids, since I gave them a TON! Still Working, but loving our RV life style.
