Great video. I'm a picture framer in Up-State NY and worked shows all over the north east for almost 25 years. Rustic destressed frames for prints from Warren Kimble and others. Funky Folk Art was what was selling back then . Have always loved working with wood. That Tag Alder grows like wild fire in our swamps here and we ran our hounds on snowshoe hare in these big swamps after they were frozen solid. I'll keep that Tag Alder in the back of my mind if I decide to do some twig art on some wildlife frames. Thanks for the video, enjoyed it very much.
He is without doubt a lot more skilled than I am, I struggle striking a match the right way. But subjectively, I feel his furniture is more suited to the garden than the house. It’s a taste thing rather than right or wrong, and I know many others will have different tastes.
Great video! After 40 year of contracting in the Adirondacks this has become a passion of mine also.plenty of resources to be had in upstate N.Y. great work!
