Awesome work, Federico! Glad to be supporting you! Would it be possible to somehow extract x/y/z position information for each particle and use it to control slider objects? Thanks!
Hi Cazaq! Well, all the particles is probably too much information. You could not have that many sliders. You could choose some random particles thought and use this small selection to extract the data
Great video Federico! Query: At 7:10 you create a 1d matrix for mass. is there a design advantage to doing that vs changing the position matrix to a 4plane matrix and having the 4th plane assigned to mass? I know you could have done it, but is there a advantage or disadvantage to the way you approached it? Thank you.
Hi Enki! No I believe it would have been the same, the only difference would have been that then, before the jit.gl.mesh, we should have used a jit.unpack and taken only the first 3 planes to assign as position matrix. So, I suppose just wanted to keep it clear for explanation purpose : )
Super nice Federico! I am trying to control the patch with an MPE midi data instead of the mousePosition. Would that be possible? In this case with a Roli Seaboard, I tried to get the x-y values through a risegraph object but I couldn't. And even if I could how can I implement that into the patch as the mousePos values?
federico, thank you for the wonderful tutorial! i'm wondering what shortcut you're using to shorten/wrap comment boxes to just the width of the text? i'm finding it quite tiresome to shorten each comment box by hand.
Dumb question: How are you moving the camera around? I see the commands in the jit.anim but th key commands aren't working for me. (I am working on a Mac)
Hi Edward! Did you set the attribute @ui_listen to 1? Also check if you are in caps-lock just in case. And that jit.anim is connected to jit.gl.camera, with all the relative attributes set
Grazie Federico...come sempre.!
Ciaooo, Federico!! Bellissimo. Grazie a te!!

Nice work! just wanna how do you move around the particles in the 3D mode?
w a s d q z keys using jit.anim.drive @ui_listen 1

Just change the mouse input values with whatever you wish to use
Mitico!!
Grazie

Hi Nico, ctrl+j
beautiful thank you!!
@2:42 "And this position matrix needs to be continuously banged." 😅
Ahahah don't be mischievous!

@@AmazingMaxStuff Thank you! I really appreciate it; I'm still new to working with jitter.
cant say a word!!
Sound is only in the left ear.
Nevermind. I realized my headphones are just dieing.
