Yup, Kurds are weak. Turks have the upper hand in Syria now against USA and Israel. It is only a matter of days that Erdogan brokers a deal for Turkish Cyprus - Syria EEZ, as well as Syria's airspace.
It’s a bittersweet irony that Syrian Kurds, who stood at the forefront of the fight against ISIS and effectively saved the world and Europe from a significant threat, now find their sacrifices overlooked in a complex web of geopolitics. Their courage and resilience deserve global recognition and unwavering support, yet the international response remains fraught with contradictions. Germany’s provision of €230 million worth of weapons to Turkey last year-a country long accused of complicity with ISIS-raises questions about aligning actions with values. The Syrian Kurds’ fight wasn’t just theirs; it was a fight for humanity, and their contributions should guide the global community to prioritize justice and solidarity over political expediency. Furthermore, the presence of a German journalist in Turkey reporting on the Syrian Kurds while avoiding critique of Turkey’s policies highlights a significant dilemma in journalistic neutrality. If journalists must tread carefully to avoid expulsion by Turkish authorities for not aligning with the state narrative, can their reporting truly be considered independent? This compromises the integrity of their work, especially when covering topics where Turkey’s policies, such as its stance on the Kurds or its alleged support of ISIS, play a central role. It’s a stark reminder of the challenges journalists face in balancing honest reporting with navigating restrictions in environments hostile to press freedom, ultimately raising questions about whose interests are being served in the storytelling.

The Kurdish people and their allies should recognize the dangerous implications of Erdoğan's foreign 😂 choices, which undermine Turkey's traditional alliances and security commitments. The acquisition of Russian weapons is not only a betrayal of NATO but also a dangerous shift that could further marginalize the Kurdish cause in the region. It is imperative for the international community to hold Turkey accountable, ensuring that Turkey's actions do not jeopardize the stability and security of the region, and that the rights and aspirations of the Kurdish people are protected from the forces of oppression and authoritarianism.

By which you mean how best to pilfer its resources.
One NATO , two proxies
LOL, what a biased comment. Turkey will do what makes sense for their countries security. Syria is Syrian land and this isn't going to change as long as Turkey is around!
"Saved the world" LMAO.
They saved the world if you can believe it, but they cannot save themselves SMH.
Yeah, carving up land that contain oil fields for yourself is very "selfless" and "sacrificial" 🥲

Everyone can stop blinking.

There is a saying in our Sindhi that

7:00 I didn’t expect the Turks to be so aggressive towards the Syrians inside their country. I thought the brits were nasty people but those have some shame at times - here, no shame, just hate

Hey world are you ready for the birth of newest and long waited country ?? THE REPUBLIC OF KURDISTAN ❤
Syriyan government wants to make a deal with YPG fighters . Syriyan government can accept YPG forces as a part of the government forces.
The SNA, which operates mostly in areas of northern Syria such as Afrin, is a coalition of various armed groups backed by Turkey. While it claims to fight for the Syrian people, many of these groups have been accused of committing human rights violations, including looting, forced displacement, torture, and abuses against Kurds, Arabs, and other ethnic minorities. These actions have undermined their legitimacy as "liberators" of the Syrian people.

Democracy is a relative term. Turkey's democracy is not strong but you cannot compare it to Syria. Other a few Nordic and Scandinavian countries, democracy around the world is more fragile than you'd think.

يجب على المجتمع الدولي أن يعمل على ضمان احترام حقوق جميع السوريين، بما في ذلك الأكراد، وأن يُحاسَبَت تركيا على أفعالها.
The international community must work to ensure that the rights of all Syrians, including Kurds, are respected and that Turkey is held accountable for its actions.
I want to know what they're talking about
They're leaving of their own free will... if only in the US.
If Syrians can't integrate in Turkey, how so they can integrate in Europe?
8:41 Poor woman is she blind?
Both Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham, among other groups, have been accused of committing human rights abuses in Syria, including executions, torture, forced displacement, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. Turkey’s indirect support for these groups has led to accusations that it contributed to the suffering of Syrian civilians.
What about Western troops!
Hipocracy of the west Amd the news channel like this! For me Isis, alquida, Taleban, htc they are all the same but when usa says its different then the entire EU and uk says yes sir that is correct! No shame

While Turkey has legitimate security concerns, particularly regarding Kurdish movements near its border, these concerns must be addressed through dialogue and diplomacy, not through military incursions or support for radical proxies. A political solution that recognizes the rights of the Kurdish people within the framework of a unified Syria is essential for lasting peace in the region. The Kurdish people of Syria have demonstrated a commitment to pluralism, democracy, and human rights, and they should not be punished for their role in defending their communities and contributing to regional stability.
