@color grading insights Thank you for sharing this informative guide on coloring RAW footage in DaVinci Resolve 18. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the clear explanation of the features and tools used. This will be very helpful in improving my video editing skills. Great job!
Thank so much! I have the whole color grading course with great footage for practice: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/pages/master-color-grading-davinci-resolve please have a look, I’m sure you would love it!
Question, I only have 1 node in the colour panel. Did you add the rest? I thought these settings were going to create the base you showed. If so, what did I miss? Please help. I'm really new at this program. Thanks.
I just discovered your channel and i really love the way you teach :) I'd like, for a future video, to understand how you apply a film print with DWG managed color profile :)
What color management do you use for V log footage from Panasonic. I want to try this technique that you’ve been applying. I love your work and I love how simplifies you make everything but I would love to see what you use for Panasonic
Subbed just on the first video! I feel like I walked into French 201…by accident. I’m supposed to be in French 101. Guess I need to go back and watch your other videos! lol.
Hello Kasia, just found you today and I'm more than happy that I did. Your content is amazing.Already watched 3 videos. Thank you so much for your work and insights.Love to watch more in future. I just tried out to fill out my project settings but I don't know why, but Davinci doesn't want to change to change the colors.Still trying to change so informations, but it doesn't work.Do you have an advice/an idea for me what I could try to find a solution for that? Thank you in advance for your help. Have a wonderful day.
Hey! It’s very hard for me to answer as I can’t see it. Consider enrolling my course: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/pages/master-color-grading-davinci-resolve I do explain color management there very thoroughly!
Thank you Kasia for all the precious help you’re putting on line. I have one question regarding the output color space. In the projet settings, do you have to switch from rec709 to rec2020 if you’re working in 4 or 8K ?
Rec.709 is a standard for hight res. definition TV, Rec.2020 is an update geared for ultra-high definition (4K and 8K) tv. So it depends on your final destination of the video.
When filming with s-log3 Do I need to set the options in it? And where should I point when I meet the exposure value? Or is it right to put the total exposure value +1 to +2? Or does it change when it's dark and bright? What should I put it at if it changes? Teacher please ^^ And what are the benefits of subscribing to your RUclips?
That's the color-grading method I was looking for ^^ I didn't know that white was zero. Your color gradation is pretty and you are very pretty.^^ I use Sony's s-log3 and the original file is stronger in color than you and the skin tone is red. It's so hard to get the whole color. ㅜㅜ Today's tutorial was a big hint. Thank you.
How do paste the grade info for Raw decoding from a still to the multiple clips BEFORE actually color correcting. I have 10 bmpcc raw cndg and want all the clips to be same...this in CAMERA RAW
can you please touch on how the raw controls work from sony XAVCI im confused cause my cam was shot in 4k XAVCI Slog3 and davinci resolve is showing it as a raw codec and allowing me to change settings in raw form.
It’s also raw, and it’s Blackmagic, so you can use the same settings and the software will recognize the footage! Also you can work in DaVinci intermediate wide gamut!
I'm still completely lost , why does color grading have to be so complicated everyone teaches it from an aspect like everyone's familiar with all these terms My editor doesn't even have the color wheel I don't even know what I'm doing😢
Hi, how could I get your full colour grading course, if your are preparing one. I like all your videos, its great and simple. I would like to be a colorist in future, please help. I tried connecting you on Instagram , please respond. Thanks
The way you - fortunately without ego - explain everything step by step, is more than instructive.

I am properly explaining Color Management in my course, please check it out!:colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading
To ja ładnie poproszę o wytłumaczenie w sposób zrozumiały - co zrobić żeby kolor który robie w Resolve po exporcie był taki sam... :)
