Trees and Woodlands have been a lifelong passion and the reason Colette established the Bealtaine Project in May 2004.
Good morning I no that feeling of cutting back looks lovely thankyou
I so love when you are laughing... The party of birds, bees, and well just awesome.
Oh those purple beech trees!
No Rain ,is so dry in the garden,,i have ton water but not much left.I hope Rain, but the commen week nog Rain.
Oh that is some of the most beautiful cutwork and crochet I've ever seen!! I'm so glad you've given it the home it deserves ❤
It’s so calming Collette , just what I needed, I had foolishly been watching the news and ‘ current’ events too much yesterday, which I glad to say I don’t usually do… but you and Mother Earth have raised my vibration back up. 💐🧚
You have done a magnificent job with your cottage. Just proves what one can do with a vision. I hope you take some time out to sit back and enjoy your work. Thank you for sharing.
You have runaway growth because you walk around saying words like beautiful, exquisite, divine, amazing and bountiful. That’s the very best way to be with all life and it responds with abundance. Of course, you know this and find that having to trim and cut back is a small concession for your garden’s response to love. Your house and gardens are gorgeous and sumptuous.
🤣🤣🤣. You did make me laugh with your illicit rose cutting.
' excuse me love,,. What's the name of your rose I've just nicked?..🤣
I think " Illicit Rose." Is a perfect name for it.
I love the sound of the breeze through the trees and the gentle chimes.. wonderful!!
My nan used to have so many of those lace tablecloths, we used to have them on the back of the chairs too. She used to drive my dad bananas because when he was sitting down, she would push his head forward to straighten them out, then push his head back.
That brought back some mad, but fond memories, so thank you for that.
My ex husband threw them all away when she died. I'm so sad about that.
But you have made me think of a funny memory. She used to iron them within an inch of their life and put a pretty one on the table with a bowl of fruit that was just for show!! Incase anyone visited.
I'm of Italian French heritage but born and live in the UK. Your beautiful cottage reminds me of the village in Italy we originate from. The older I'm getting ( in my 60's )... my soul seems to be yearning for it...
Have a wonderful day.💕
Such beautiful memories!

Beautiful.Great for drying your washing on return 🌱🌀🌳☺️Love the lace cloth Colette … a work of art.’Spiders living it up in the curtains’😂😂😂😂So funny!
Thank you for the lovely morning at Bealtaine. The wind the trees was beautiful. Love the traditional Hardanger tablecloth. I have a wall hanging that my ex mother-in-law made for me. I treasure it. A disappearing art. Have a beautiful day dear Colette.
@@roseofmercy Such patience it takes. Each stitch and/or thread pull. You are indeed lucky to have your grandmothers.
The crocheted table cloth looks amazing!
Dear Colette................all looks so bright and full of harmony....................Blessings and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
Beltaine Cottage is looking grand . Collette you should be proud of yourself what you did with it. It's hard to find Irish linen these days and when it can be found it's a very high price. I am growing Broccoli and cauliflower this year and garlic. And I am late . But runner beans are going in at the end of the week.
It is amazing just how fertile temporate rain forest areas can be when mankind stops interfering, or gives a helping hand.
I love your fox cushion.
I love the table covering! And I love how the maker used three techniques: crochet, pulled threads, and embroidery. A true labor of love.
The antique white paint brings out the natural wood colours.🍀
Thankyou Collette, I've come to you to calm and ground me after a really sad day attending my niece's baby's funeral, hope you realise just how much you help people in so many ways! Blessed be 💚
When you opened your door, wow, just so lovely, and to think you planted it all,and the birdsong, everything seems brighter this year and so lush. You are so special and thankyou for your videos x
Dear Colette your cottage is fix so beautiful.
Just gorgeous the inside and out.A real paradise the way you fix it.No need to go on vacation. You are on vacation all Year around. ENJOY. From a 78years old lady from Canada 🇨🇦💖
My Grandmother used to say that Mother Nature was bursting at the seams today. Your lovely place is definitely bursting at the seams.
The cottage is looking beautiful Collette 😘
That beautiful hand crochet cloth you bought looks so lovely on your table Colette - what a lovely find. Your world around you is just amazing, with the abundance of Mother Earth giving her all! Thank you for all you do for her, and for us being able to see the beauty around you. I hope you are feeling much better now? Hope you have a lovely day busy planting and doing what you do to keep nature thriving. xxx Blessings and love to you xxx

Everything looks so beautiful outside and inside! You've accomplished so much! Love to see the bees going about and the birds.
I have a plant identifier app on my phone and it's pretty handy just take a pic and press a button if that helps 🌻🌻🌻
As a gardener in a short-summer, mountain/alpine-influenced area...your garden makes me drool!!!! But, garden I do! Sending heaps of love to you...to thank you for sharing! 👍😎🇨🇦🌲🌞🌸
Maybe an Albertine?
LOL! Colette, thank you for the morning giggles, re: "illicit cuttings" of a rose. Too funny. You are such a cool lady. Wish you were my neighbor.
💚💚💚✨
Glad you're feeling better house is looking gorgeous as ever
H Collette, I love all the statues and garden ornaments scattered in amongst the trees and shrubs on your beautiful property. Would you be able to tell us about some of them? Where /how you got them? What significance they have to you and your lifestyle etc.
I love you and your cottage and your trees and your heart so much. ❤️❤️
The wind in the trees is so beautiful Colette!
I absolutely love your table covering! Such craftmanship! What a find!
Fabulous growth Colette, have a wonderful day 💚😉

I so love, love that Irish linen table cloth...if you find another l would love to buy one from you...🙋♀️😀
May you be well and happy...💗
I'm pretty sure the rose on the veranda is called 'Sir Paul Smith'.
So beautiful Collette, I just love this time of year! Looking forward to seeing your piece of woven art when it's finished, you are very artistic ❤
Wow! Your plants are way ahead of ours. Here in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon), it's still quite cold, and my poppies are about 3 cm tall!
All your stain glass is beautiful. Thank you for the lovely post.
My mother loved linen and lace and flowers. She would have loved your cottage
love the doily. I have a few myself, some done by my mother but I also do a few. Thanks for sharing.
Movable art is awesome! It's kinetic art...like Alexander Caulder. So yesterday I was the grocery store in line. I heard your voice. I looked behind me. Everyone was looking at me. I kept hearing your voice. I went to my car and again I heard your voice. I said hello? Looking around I saw no one. I got in my car and heard you again. Im at the end of chemo treatments and I'm thinking omg my brain is effected by the chemo. The I felt something. It was my phone in my back pocket 🤣😅 it turned on your channel!! Too funny. At least I'm not crazy....lol
The burdon of abundance. A quote from roots and refuge
❤🧡💚💜
I too adore all your garden ornaments. I'd also love to see and hear a tour all about them. Knowing you they probably have some funny and fascinating stories behind each one!
@@ivanhawkins3552 Absolutely I have a garden....
@@ivanhawkins3552 Tons of herbs and flowers and vegetables.
At about 5:55, is that an ice cream cone? Love it!😊
Lovely as usual

Hi Colette 👋 Your voice, at anytime, is wonderful to hear. I am now a neighbor, living in the Curlews. It would be grand to have a cuppa with you at the local garden center cafe or in Boyle. 🫖

Beautiful garden and home......
Beautiful Collette! My favorite clematis of all the different types is the gypsy or gipsy queen. Been around for generations. The most intense purple. How’s the rose you planted on your rustic arch doing?
You seem a lot lighter colette. Glad your back in form . Your home certainly looks like it's got more light x
Snap!!! Have 2 of those clematis too and they are just beautiful!! Wow ur poppies are way ahead of ours down south here.....blessings xx
Always lovely 😍 💕 ♥
The rose is Madame Grégoire Staechelin
Thank you 🙏
Colette, at times when possible and feeling up to it, could you add typed out the names of some of your plants?
Today, the one I think started with two syllables of "C" and perhaps ending with being "Aster", I would love to know what it is. It was along a wall and the bees were enjoying it! 🥰
I'm from America. 🇺🇸 🙂 Some of the names of plants I can make out and some along with hearing them correctly, I know of and some I've had. I'm sure you're speaking them all correctly! I dearly adore your accent. In America there's so many different accents!
As well, I don't know if we have all of the same plants as Ireland. Some I'm sure aren't in both of our continents. My Great-Grandparents came from Ireland to America. So I have Irish in my ancestry and some in my other blood line, too.
Thank you kindly, Colette. I always feel nourished by watching you, seeing your lovely cottage, and life in your ever-evolving three acres! A most beautiful slice of earth!

@@bealtainecottage Thank you Colette. 😊
Hello, Dear Collette,
What is your position about keeping bees? The honey you would get from Bealtaine Cottage would be scrumptious!!!!
I am vegan.
