When people pass on a word in the lightening round I always thought the rules should have let them go back to it later if they still had time on the clock.

you probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
Edie was a strong player. So fun to see the women's vintage hairstyles. Edie's hair is teased and sprayed to high heaven, while the first female player's style looks contemporary.
Yes. Amy Beard (the blonde contestant) does look like a young lady from our day! She's one of the reasons why I love this episode so much. It's even on a DVD set of CBS's PASSWORD shows I bought many years ago from BIG LOTS.
Second female guest was a college board member of a department store. I believe that was a role had by students interested in fashion and was popular into the 1970s.
2:33 "You know how to play Password, Bob?" Newhart: "Yeah....." lol 5:05 Newhart: "Tractor" Ludden: "That's the way you play "Price is Right" but not "Password."
As a recent subscriber I've started watching from your earliest videos. There must be some legal issues involved, since there are no shows from 1963 available 😢. ❤ your channel though. Wow, 20 seconds for the lightning round. Looking forward to watching the episode with Peter Lawford where he held the record with 11 seconds I'm told 😮
@@ChrisHansonCanada as a new subscriber, I like to start from the earliest videos and work my way up to the latest. What I should have mentioned was that the episodes had gone from 1962 to 1964, I guess all I have to do is scroll down further.
He had no idea what a "Maid" was during the Lightning Round. 🙄 Without a script B.N. is like a fish-out-of-water. 90% of regular people would have said: "Butler" or "Cook" instead of doing the blank stare.

Wow! I had never seen either Eydie or Bob so young!
RIP, Bob Newhart. He just passed away at age 94.
3:00 The very first password was "Recipe," chosen probably because Eydie was a well known "Gorme."
Nyuck nyuck nyuck
Bob in his 90s is still sharp, funny, and charming. Saw him interviewed by Conan recently.
Bob Newhart. I love this man.
You mean Papa Elf ? 🎄
If footballers get athlete's foot, do astronauts get missile toe?
Wow amazing to see Bob this young
Watching Eydie play is almost as pleasurable as hearing her sing.

Bob Newhart passed away today July 18, 2024.
Bob looks about five years old here.
I DO like his suit. I wish they'd bring them back!

She’s a hairhopper, that’s what she is.
That’s Right, the Women are Smarter. That’s Right, the Women are smarter. That’s Right the Women are smarter, the women are smarter, that’s right.
I do miss the side changing music of the earlier episodes......
Oh wow, quite the chronology jump, here.

He appearance the Bob Newhart show Newhart and the rescuers
I wonder what the record was for the lightning round. Eydie and her partner did it in 20 seconds. Remarkable.
12 seconds. Peter Lawford was the guest celebrity.
@@jcneverquits Amazing! Thanks.
@@gabe-po9yi You're welcome
5:09; Perfect clue!
I thought so, too!! Right out of a cheat's playbook. :) :)

Come on, Bob! You know doggone well how to play Password! You must give your answers in the form of a question

I don't know where you are looking, but the 1963 episodes are all there in the playlist.

Awesome!
Bob Newhart was 5'8" and I notice Amy Beard from the first game is 6'3"
Edyie's female partner in that lightening round was sharp as can be!
Newhart is such a goof.
I like Bob Newhart
Yeah!! He makes deadpan comedy so cool!! :) :)

5:09 that’s a little too precise.
Did you notice the top of this youtube video? it says Bob Newhart and Eydie Gorme? Normally it says the girl's name first
What was going on with Edie Gorme and her nose??? She kept scratching it.
maybe it itched
❤
The original password had much harder words than password plus or super password. I guess because they didn’t have to be clues to a puzzle.
Good grief! Bob takes so long for a simple clue!
I know. But it's ok when everyone else does it, right?
She said April, he should have said first.
Eydie gives TERRIBLE hints!!
