now meet in the middle with a Gruhn Spec. Sinker Mahogany. It tonally has the best of both worlds.

I've just got the J-200 ❤ I played it back to back with a Martin D28, and I liked the J200 more 😮

For me its the 18. In a gigging situation it cuts the mix and it records much better in the studio. Martin does have limited availability is Sinker mahogany which tonally is the best of both worlds. But the 28 is flipping legendary. Since you posed this question I have one for you; what's north of the north pole?

Hi. I liked the sound and look of the D-18. The D-28 might be a little warmer, great for finger-picking. Both sounded great, nice playing. Ü ♫

All comes down to personal preference. I happen to prefer the D28 sound. I like the sound of Rosewood back and sides better than Mahogony. Others may prefer Mahogony over Rosewood.

I’m sorry you thought the 200 could ever be better, really I am.

I agree, but it's simply a matter of preference. 200's can be astounding guitars.
