Hiii I am Aman, a Student Physical Therapist. Here are some suggestions on how to prepare for PT school, things you should know before starting your physical therapy school journey, such as study tips, traveling, etc. - Хобби
Great tips, out of all the videos I seen about PT classes and what to expect, this one is the best.
Hi! I'm a PT student too. I'm happy that I"ve seen your video. And thanks for sharing and the tips. Such a big help preparing my journey to PT😊
You are so welcome!! Super glad you found it helpful! Good luck in your PT journey! :)
I’m preparing for PT school, so I appreciate this information!
Glad it was helpful! Good luck!!
Very Helpful 👌 Thanks!! 😃
Great video ♥️✨✨👏👏
aman ???? it’s kayla from nyc !!! we worked together for a bit lol. Glad to see you are well. I just got my PT acceptance letter this morning!!!
Hi Kayla!! Congrats!! So exciting! Glad you're doing well too!! You'll do great in school! :)
I Love Ur Ideas❤🤩...Sister Please, Explain in Biomechanics....❤🤩
Hey there, thank you for the tips! Can you tell me what your study tactics were for when you mentioned your in-person classes compared to taking the lectures at home? I'm always curious to know how different SPT study so that I can try it as well. Thank you
Hey Nicholas, right now I have an app called ' Be Focused' that I use for 25 minute study sessions to keep myself on track while studying at home. Prior to studying at home, I used to study with classmates at school, bouncing ideas off of them and asking questions when they would come up. I am also trying to study using flash cards as that is active recall rather than reviewing slides over and over which is more passive. Hope this helps ya!
I am a PT student too , so glad to have found you ❤️
Aww thanks :) and yay!!!
im so scared to start PT school because of the difficulty and workload
Try to not be afraid, there are definitely things you can do to prepare and try to figure out study strategies that work best for you to excel in the environment!
Have you finished pt shcool? I heard it is expensive.
😭🤧🤧This Course is making me want to reconsider my life choices 😭
You got this!
I actually found this video very helpful. Thank you.
I feel like I have a better insight of what to expect. When you mention leggings and sports bras and having a lot of different clothing handy. What do you mean? As a Muslim I’m very conservative and It would mean the world to me if you could Just explain a little bit more what you meant.
Thank you again for doing these videos
Glad the video was helpful! For PT school, we many times have to make skin to skin contact to better understand what structures (muscles, bones, etc) we are on. For labs, it is generally recommended for girls to be in sports bras and shorts for those days when learning skills. It is of course possible to do the skills fully clothed, it just might be slight difficult to get a good "purchase"/ grip with clothes on. You can always let your professors know and they will work with you to come up with a solution.
Thank you so much! I’m so grateful for your feedback!
How many hours did you spend in PT school?
What other courses do you recommend preparing for before PT school? To clarify, you’re talking about grad school?
Yes, this video is about Grad school, specifically PT school. Anatomy is the best course to prepare for ahead of PT school, but if you wanted to study other subjects I would say physiology would also be good.
Hey...Esteban here. PT student...I tried to follow you on Instagram, but seems like your page was deleted?
Hi, yes, with the pandemic school life, there just seemed to not be much to post about actual school life so I deleted it

What kind of papers are we required to know to write in PT school ?
You may have a couple research papers to write based on your program and the topic assigned to you.
Do you have any videos where you talk about the GRE? I am so nervous about the inconsistent information I find about experiences and how to better prepare for it.
I am actually very discouraged by my own undergrad school, they provided information that seems very misleading.
I got a link with all sorts of information re the GRE which say that half the test is about calculus! And they have 100 questions about organic, inorganic and many other chemistry topics,
100 questions about physics
100 of psychology, 100 more on biology but when I looked up RUclips videos, NO ONE EVER talks about any of these subject la being in the GRE!
I don’t know how to get a hold of someone who just passed it or even someone who just took it!
I feel so hopeless and so discouraged.
Any information you have will literally save my life!
Yes, I do have a video about the GRE. I can assure you that organic chem is not tested in the GRE, the subjects you listed are tested on the MCAT but are not 100?'s per subject.

I got a 160Q 158V and 5.5 AW. THERE IS NO PSYCH/BIO/PHYSICS. It’s tricky math and reading comprehension/vocabulary and an argument/analysis essay. You’re taking the general GRE
EDIT: I was also accepted to DPT school if that helps
I am an OT student so Idk why I am here
