Hi! I am Aman, a Student Physical Therapist. Here are some tips to study for anatomy during PT school!
RUclips Videos- Watch some dissection videos
Draw things out if you’re artistic - Draw to reinforce what the structure’s look like
Use the Anatomy book- It has photos of dissections and labels!
Memorization - Use flash cards or use notability to white out the labels and try to guess what the structure is.
Mnemonics- There is so much brute memorization that one way you can make sure that you can remember stuff is using mnemonics, ppl the year above you know some, people on youtube know some use them! Lumbar plexus mnemonic- I Twice Get Laid On Friday’s.
Go to different donors and point out the structures- Any of the structures on any of the bodies can be used on the practicals so you need to figure out where the structure is in every body. Point it out and say it out loud, teach others that are around.
Don’t forget the mm, vv, aa -You will lose points if you don’t write what the specific structure is
Chunk up information- Compartments of Upper and Lower extremity- figure out blood supply, innervation, muscles in each compartment.

Hi, yes it does. I certainly recommend starting with studying the bigger body muscles :)
